Quake hits Canada
A 5.0-magnitude earthquake shook Ottawa and Montreal on Wednesday, sending office workers scrambling onto downtown streets in Canada's capital, and damaging buildings and roadways in Quebec province. The US Geological Survey said the epicentre was 53km north of Ottawa, but the quake was felt as far away as New York and Ohio in the United States. There were no reports of injuries. AP
