Braly Elementary has a full day program. However, in order to transition students gradually, our first day and first 3 weeks schedule is DIFFERENT than the rest of the year. Please note the following:

•            AUGUST 15th: Students and parents need to come to school from 8:25-10:05 a.m. Students will meet with teachers and parents will meet with the principal and PTA (Parent Teacher Organization). No lunch/snack will be served. No transportation is provided. You will take your child home at 10:05 a.m. unless you have made other arrangements with the Extended Day Program.

•            AUGUST 16th - SEPTEMBER 2: Students attend school from 8:25-11:46 a.m. Parents are encouraged to leave campus fairly soon after dropping students off. We realize some students have a hard time with separation anxiety-so do some parents :0), however the sooner you leave and let our staff manage students, the quicker we find most students adjust. Please note that students DO NOT have formal lunch the first two weeks of school. Please provide a healthy snack. Do not send in glass containers. Students are dismissed at 11:46am.

•            STUDENT ASSESSMENTS: Teachers will be using the afternoon hours of the first few weeks to assess students in a one-on-one or small group setting. You will be contacted to schedule a time for your child.

Wednesday, minimum day:
Start: 8.25am
Lunch: 11.45am
Dismissal: 1.32pm
 

Note: Students bring lunch or buy one from the cafeteria beginning the third week of school.
