Triporati is looking for a world-class web producer with design, and technical experience. A great candidate will have a deep understanding of web analytics, strong design skills, and front-end programming experience. Reporting to, and working closely with our Chief Product Officer, the web producer will play a key role in the development and continuous improvement of our web sites.
Responsibilities
You will work directly with Triporati’s Chief Product Officer to define, design, build and launch a variety of product features. Which means: The level of work you’ll do is only limited by your capabilities. Are you capable of: designing a web page? Producing that page? Proficient with Javascript? Great, as long as you’re also willing to do data entry, test, and do Google searches.
In exchange, you’ll get unique visibility and experience in a startup and the chance to move on to do many other things within the company.
The web producer will be responsible for delivery of development projects. This person will continuously monitor site analytics and usage in order to identify and scope site functionality projects that support Triporati’s business goals.
Working closely with our Chief Product Officer, the producer will help specify product requirements. During product design and implementation, the producer will also be responsible for UI design and mockups, along with CSS and XHTML template coding.
On an ongoing basis this person will monitor and analyze site analytics to help understand site traffic and trends.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a designer or producer who is willing to work hard and do wide varieties of non-glamorous tasks in order to get their foot in the door, learn, and gain tremendous amounts of experience in all aspects of a business. Specific requirements include:
A minimum of 3 years web production/project management experience.
Strong web UI design experience, including the use of tools such as Photoshop.
Excellent web front-end coding experience, including XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
A strong understanding of web application infrastructure, including Apache, Java and SQL is a huge plus.
The ability to work independently and productively in a start-up environment.
An interest and passion for learning new skills in a rapidly changing business environment.
