Glad to announce we have got 2 new mods in the team, thanks to their willingness to help the site. We have been facing a tough time within the forum facing lot if internal issues and we were short of moderators who could actively guide.
Lathechi aka Mizhineerpoovu being the eldest among has accepted the mod job, she will be taking care of the reports alone as Vini is unavailable coz of her health. As we all know she has been part of MalluPride for long and it is a great pleasure to have her in the team, thanks to her willingness.
Shameer aka Bava will be taking care of the Front Desk, The Lounge and Off Topic forum section as mod. He is the most active member that we got recently and he will be a great addition to the team for the smooth running of the froum.
Anju will be promoted to the supermod position as we are short of an active supermod and she will be taking care of the entire Chit Chat section. She has got experience as mod and also she was the lone active mod in the recent times.
Cijo will be taking care of few more sections - The Red Carpet, Arcade and Techy Driven forum sections. He was inactive coz of some personal problems but he has promised to be active and will be handling the above sections .
Also as an active member suggested we will be having a new title - a kind of HRM for our forum as well, who will be helping and guiding members related to personal conflict and issues with other members if any inside the forum. Lathechi will be acting as the councilor and members should contact her if any personal issue arises with fellow members rather than putting a public thread/post for discussion to show personal grudge. She is the best person for this post and she will be more than willing to help anyone as she has always been.
A note to everyone, please follow this simple rule while you are here in the forums.
Respect fellow members, Respect mods decisions.
If you can't follow this simple rule there is no obligation that you should stay in here. I have seen people threatening to quit, you are most welcome to do so if you can't follow the above rule. As an admin I will be happy to have few members who respect each other and behave inside the forum than people who misbehave and take things for granted and act like they own this place and break rules just cause they are active or have made many posts .You don't have to worry about the future of mallupride as it is never your concern.

We had a few hrs down time for upgrading the software, but it is worth as we have some new features, mainly profile enhancement with visitor message and some cosmetic changes.Also a member album for everyone, social group feature letting users to create your own groups (either public or private-can be joined by invites) where people can talk about the group of about the group subject.For instance I have made a small social group named MP Official Fan's club which can be seen in my profile and anyone could join the group as it is publicly listed.
List of the new features added.
- Social Group - Check out Group
- Member Album & Pictures( will add a facility to add the pictures straight to board - later, as of now the pictures can be added straight to your member group) - Check out Album
- New notification system which shows all new notices - instead of just private message.The private message option will be back once the new notifications are read.(our change mood feature will be inactive if notifications are present)
- Profile Enhancements - Some minor cosmetic changes with a tabbed view, also a right side panel which shows your mini Stats, Groups, Album, Recent Visitors and things like that. - Your Profile
- Thread prefixes and Thread tags to identify threads and will help to search threads by tags, members can own tags for threads.
- Post change history : Whenever a post is edited, a history is kept so that the new changes can be compared with the old one.
Few snaps are added in the next post. So
