Hi,
I'm a grad student at Berkeley and need to learn beginning French pretty intensively over the next few months for a project I'm going to be involved in next semester. Want to exchange languages? You don't need to be a native speaker, so long as you enjoy communicating in French.
I speak Korean and Japanese non-natively -- learning is a lifelong pursuit! -- lived and worked in both countries, passed level 1 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Exam (Nihongo Nouryoku Shiken 1kyuu), have studied both for many years and friends say I have good pronunciation, so I could definitely help you out if you're starting to learn either language.
I'm male, 34 y/o. Meeting a couple of times a week in coffee shops in Berkeley or some similar setting closeby would be great.
Hope to hear from you!
