Web developer/Architect, Dolcera


Dolcera is an exciting startup company focused on information research and analysis services. We are developing a Web 2.0 collaboration platform to help our Fortune 500 clients collaborate effectively. The platform consists of:
- An advanced workflow framework for large document collections, and
- A visualization platform to present the results of our analysis.

The platform is already in production and used by several large corporations worldwide.

We are currently looking to hire a web developer/architect to participate in our fast-growing development efforts. As part of the team, your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding requirements and developing design specs,
- Researching and prototyping new frameworks,
- Architecting the solution frameworks and documenting the same,
- Implementing the frameworks, and
- Testing and management of deployed tools.

The ideal candidate should be a graduate (or postgraduate) in Computer Science or related disciplines. Qualifications include:
- Web development experience, specifically with PHP, Java or C++
- Experience with database design and implementation, using open source databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with Adobe Flex technology a plus
- Experience with information presentation technology and research
- Familiarity with Photoshop and Flash a plus
- Experience with Excel macros and Visual Basic programming a plus
