Remember each culture has its 'story telling time'.
This is especially true of the Indian, Eskimo (Inuit), Dene and Metis cultures of Canada.  It was a way to communicate fundamental Principles, Beliefs and Values to the younger generation.
This tradition goes back to the ancients and are similar to the parables of the bible.
They who disregards this wisdom, has no roots and will surely wither and die.
My cultural roots

"In reading history one must always be impressed by the fact that our knowledge is only a collection of scraps and fragments
that we put together into a pleasing design,
and often the discovery of one new fragment would cause us to alter utterly the whole design"
Morris Bishop

Due to the large scope and nature of my work,
I recommend that you confirm all records with other sources.

Inventing a past does not guarantee a future.

In early Canadian history all lands West of the St. Lawrence River Valley
is known as the Indian Territories.
Most early records however just referred to this land as the West or interior.
Other records refer to these lands as the Northern Wilderness
and some early Europeans romantically called them the North West.

The Government would later push the name Canada West but this proved not to be a popular reference.

The Indian and Metis put a holy value on the concept of generosity
and commented that "he is convinced that the Whitman's stinginess is based on ignorance".
