With the HandyLogs Money app, however, you can use your BlackBerry to track your travel expenses the moment you incur them, which will save you time (and potentially money) once you return. HandyLogs Money lets you assign each new expense to a corresponding purpose category, such as Business, Personal, Asset, Vacation, Vehicle, or Clients. You can further classify the expense under categories such as Meals, Gas, Parking, Hotel, Grocery, Medical, or Miscel-laneous. For each entry, you can assign a dollar amount, choose the payment method, add notes, and change the date of the expense. If you find that the readily available categories HandyLogs Money offers don’t entirely suit your needs, you can delete existing categories and add custom categories to better track your particular expenses. The data you enter using the app is all stored locally, so HandyLogs Money works whether you have a wireless signal or not. You can also sync to HandyLogs.com. All entries are time-stamped for reference later on. The app lets you export data to CSV files, save data in the form of Excel spreadsheets, change currencies, and more. HandyLogs Money also features a time sheet utility that you can use to track multiple activities and projects as well as an odometer utility for easily tracking mileage.
