Tyrants can are pretty good soloing you can deal a good amount of damage and can take some as well. Groups are always good, but thats the same for any class. I usually always go for catacombs or necroplis' due to great xp and awesome drops. You can solo in a small room if your a little higher lvl then the catacomb its self, always pull to the hall so you dont get to many on you, if you get a good group you wont have to do this.
Your totems are key, always use them when you are lvling always keep one up they really help you like your own mini buff. You also will want to keep your focus force up just in case you get in a spot where you need that extra punch from hurricane assult or other skills.
Stun is also important I usually always start my enemy or a mob off with stun and follow with a hurricane assult to deal some big damage my main totem is puma for the higher attack speed hawk and ogre are also good. In higher lvls zealot is always a great tool to use when you have low hp (30%), bison and zealot is a deadly combonation. This is the same way in pvp.
Also when you get high lvl you get force barrier, 10 second invincibilty. I reccomend using this when your at 30% hp so you have a much longer time with bison and zealot while your still alive and hitting much harder then you would usually. Force Barrier is a great tool for pvp.
