Los Diaguitas: Vestuario y utensilios
• VESTUARIO: Del tipo de vestimenta que usaban los diaguitas, se sabe que utilizaron el algodón y la lana de llama. Restos arqueológicos han podido determinar que utilizaban collares y adornos de piedra de malaquita y de conchas.
• UTENSILIOS: Los diaguitas utilizaban distintos tipos de herramientas hechas de cobre, pinzas, cinceles, espátulas. También usaban herramientas de hueso, como cucharas magníficamente talladas con figuras de hombres y animales, también torteras que servían para hacer girar el huso de hilo, puñales, agujas, roldanas, barbas para arpón. Los diaguitas también tenían una alfarería doméstica, que no era pulida ni pintada; era de color terroso, gris, muchas veces negro tizano por el uso en contacto con el fuego. Estos tipos de cántaros son variados en forma y tamaño: hay algunos rectos como taza, otros muy alargados, los hay como miniaturas y cántaros de hasta 32 cm. de diámetro, por 45 cm. de largo.
