Flyer: 'Engine problems' known before crash

Passengers on the Continental Airlines jet that crashed on takeoff in Denver were told the plane had an engine problem but that it had been fixed, a passenger said. Gabriel Trejos was about to board Continental Flight 1404 with his wife and 1-year-old when gate officials announced the plane was experiencing "engine problems," Trejos said. full story
