Fabian, who gained fame as a pop idol in the 1950s, escaped serious injury in a car crash near Palm Desert, Calif., his publicist said.

Fabian, his daughter Julia Forte, and his manager, Oscar Arslanian, were driving in Arslanian's car Friday night when it was sideswiped by another car, publicist Steve Moyer said in a press release. Arslanian's car rolled over several times.

Arslanian was hospitalized at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, and was expected to make a full recovery.

Fabian, 64, and his daughter were treated and released.

During a performance in Palm Springs Saturday night with former teen idols Frankie Avalon and Bobby Rydell, Fabian misjudged the edge of the stage and took a fall -- and wound up back in the emergency room.

"It's a miracle that we survived that accident," the singer said in a statement. "Except for being sore, I thought I could do the show. I didn't want to disappoint the audience."

Fabian is set to rejoin Avalon and Rydell for several dates in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
