US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Saturday called Egypt's foreign minister to discuss the country's economic and political situation, as well as events in Syria, the State Department said.

It said the telephone call covered the same ground as President Barack Obama's discussion with Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi on Friday, which the White House said was focused on Egypt's need for a democratic transition.

Clinton's call to Foreign Minister Mohammed Amr came as official election results showed that Egypt's Islamists, led by the once-banned Muslim Brotherhood, clinched more than two-thirds of parliamentary seats in historic polls held last year after the ouster of long-time president Hosni Mubarak.

"They also compared notes on Syria in advance of the Arab League meetings this weekend," the State Department said in a brief statement.

Thank you. You have echoed my thoughts EXACTLY--including the one about the hair. Regarding your second note--no, these people really do not understand. They are the elitists, and they think they know everything. They don't have a clue about other cultures and other religions. They are more afraid of Christians with a deep faith than they are the radical Islams.

wheres the one who won't have to pay her mortgage or put gas in her tank? $5 TRILLION in deficit spending and these same people got absolutely nothing out of it but debt and a much weaker dollar. Hilary Clinton and the other bozos in President Obama's State Department pushed the "Arab Spring" and slighted the possibility that Egypt could turn out to be anything but an enlightened secular democracy when the dust settled. They poo-pooed any warnings that the Muslim Brotherhood was a radical Islamist cult whose main objectives were Sharia law in Egypt and a repudiation of the peace treaty with Israel. Many of us thought they were wrong. Now all of us get to watch the disintegration of the nation of Egypt into a failed state filled with starving people and a resumption of war against Israel as it plays out on cable. Hey Dummies: told you so...

Hillary Clinton is friends with Anthony Weiner's (remember him!!) mother-in-law who is very active and is on board with Muslim Brotherhood group , Hillary had been in direct contact with them as well. (the info was available on Google during Weiner scandal)....
If this is in not the most treasonous administration I don't think what is, however you wouldn't hear a word from the media.....and that is the scariest part of all....
Unfortunately the actions of this administration lead not only to the destruction of our country but more dangerous world as well....Irah wouldn't be the only country acquiring nuclear weapons but the surrounding countries as well...and then sooner or later one of thos e counties will use it...it isn't IF ..it is WHEN....and in the same time our country is cutting the defence budget!!! Does it make any sense?

Iraq falling apart, Iran closer than ever to holding the world hostage with nuclear weapons and the only functioning Democracy in the Middle East pretty much abandoned by the Obama Administration.
