Annual convocation of Netaji Institute

NEW DELHI: The 14th Annual Convocation of Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) was held here on Friday.

NSIT, a premier institution of the Delhi Government, was established in 1983 with the objective of increasing interaction between industry and academia, besides helping in tackling the shortage of manpower in the fields of engineering and technology.

Formerly known as Delhi Institute of Technology, the autonomous institution has an academic affiliation with Delhi University and is fully funded by the State Government.

Spread over a sprawling campus of 150 acres in South-West Delhi, the institute boasts of an infrastructure of international standards. It offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. level in the latest areas of technologies like Electronics and Communication Engineering and Instrumentation.
