$12 for all these food!? And not to mention their cafe had nice Arabian decor and a laid back ambiance too. I love the way middle eastern food is prepared cos its healthier, their sauces and gravy are not too rich (i love love love the “yogurty” textured sauces), and they usually bake or grill . I ordered steak for my main course, pretty juicy and tender I must say – considering I have braces and still able to chew all that chunky meat.
The cafe is also a nice place to chill out and have a sisha , they open late till 11pm .
Showing off my new DianaF+ camera!

My mommy is addicted to frozen yogurt ! To cure her fix , we took a trip down to Berrylite @ UOB Centre
She is quite critic when it comes to yogurt and she seemed rather impressed with Berrylite! It’s fat free and not jarringly sweet like some other brands. She says its her new favorite yogurt store , but just too bad that the store is all the way in the CBD .
We picked green tea, sour apple and natural flavors – (natural was the yummiest ) . Although we had 2 take-home packs, It wasnt easy trying to save it for later .
And not to mention – they have a really cute website too http://www.berrylite.com/ – the website kinda reminds me of one of the theme parks in universal studios singapore .
The frozen yogurt stores we have tried: (in favorite order!)
1. Berrylite ( we like it cos its fat free and mmMmm the after taste lingers , but its rather inconvenient to buy)
2. Yummy Yogurt (this yogurt store has been a childhood favorite to me , but my mom says its quite fatty )
3. Frolick ( its lighter in its texture, but its taste is nothing I would crave for)
4. Yoguru ( its texture is quite close to Berrylite’s but its milkier and sweeter)
4. Sour Sally ( my mom and I agreed that it has an acquired taste , its indeed quite sour but I have an Indonesian friend who actually likes it)
I hope that one day they will invent flavors with different amounts/level of sugar to choose from similar to what they do for those bubble tea cafes like Gong Cha and Koi .
