CED: N.C. startups have created 40,000-plus jobs

Date: Thursday, January 26, 2012, 6:36am ESTCED said Wednesday that 1,823 high-growth companies founded in North Carolina since 1992 have created 40,560 jobs. The information was part of a 20-year retrospective report called “Starting Something: The State of the Entrepreneurial Economy of North Carolina, 1992-2011.”
