MangoApps — the enterprise social collaboration platform is a combination of traditional intranet, social networking, and team collaboration, and is designed for small, medium and large enterprises.
To expand its reach in the Indian market further, MangoSpring is looking at signing up with partners in different verticals. “We are definitely keen to increase our visibility in the Indian market through channel partners. We have a hybrid model — a combination of direct and indirect sales — in markets outside, and the idea is to replicate the same model in
The product by MangoSpring comes pre-integrated with different features, some of which include microblogging, document management, instant messenger, and project management among others, and gives users the option of disabling/enabling features based on the requirement.
Though a relatively nascent market, the vendor believes that social collaboration will see growing adoption in the near future in the country. “Verticals like IT/ITES, Media & entertainment and financial services, the early adopters of social collaboration, will be the initial target markets,” he says.
As an initial start to its partner strategy, MangoSpring is planning to align with resellers who focus on selling enterprise systems like Sharepoint and Google Docs, and also CRM solutions like Dynamics, Salesforce and SugarCRM. It also has plans in place to sign up selected software distributors to further reach out to more resellers and expand its geographic reach.
As part of its demand generation strategy, the company is also planning to conduct various events and social media campaigns, along with conducting free PoCs on shared cloud for prospective customers.
The product from MangoSpring currently allows integration with various business applications like Sharepoint, Office 365, Dropbox, Sugar CRM and Salesforce.com. MangoApps is available in both on-premise and cloud models.
Though a highly competitive market, MangoSpring believes that it will be able to ward off some of the leading brands in this space. “Our development cycle is faster as we come up with monthly updates to our platform. Our ability to provide integration with third-party application and the product depth will give us the edge,” adds Thomas.
