Position Summary
The Manager, Technology is
responsible for all client service engineering efforts within the regional office including the management of solution architectures, data architectures, development and coding efforts, and quality assurance.
The Manager, Technology is responsible for consistently delivering technical excellence and efficiency on all projects as well as, assisting with the development of new business and on-going client relationships. The Manager is ultimately responsible for the on-time, on-budget delivery of the engineering aspects of all projects. The Manager is responsible for hiring, performance management resource utilization, and managing technical aspects of client/project profitability.
The Manager, Technology leads and directs cross-disciplinary development and execution of short-term (project specific) and long-term (account specific) engineering strategies. She or he is also responsible for representing and communicating Organic’s engineering and business philosophy, methodology and capabilities to current and potential clients, as well as across all departments, business units and service lines.
Education/Work Experience
* 7+ yrs overall experience preferred including:
o 5 + yrs experience staffing and managing an engineering organization.
o 4 + yrs experience in a client services business; preferably with P&L responsibility.
o 5+ yrs systems architecture, design and development experience.
o 3 + yrs experience designing and implementing large-scale Web-specific systems, including n-tier architectures.
o 3 + yrs designing and implementing substantial e-commerce systems.
* Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
* Significant experience with online video hosting, scalability of heavy Flash/video sites, hosting vendor evaluation
