TRENDING: Trump's f-bomb tirade
head shot 1

(CNN) – Real estate mogul Donald Trump served up a profanity laced speech to Republican supporters in Las Vegas Thursday night, attacking American policies and continuing his flirtation with a run for the GOP presidential nomination.

At a reception hosted by two Republican women's groups at the Treasure Island Casino, Trump acknowledged he is not the typical candidate for president, and may lose in 2012, but is still serious about a bid for the White House.

"I'll think about it," Trump said when an audience member asked him to run. "You probably won't be disappointed."

Trump, who has said he will decide by June whether to run for president, also criticized the price of oil in his remarks, one of the mantras adopted by the reality TV star of late.

"They (OPEC) want to go in and raise the price of oil because we have nobody in Washington that sits back and says you're not going to raise that f-ing price, you understand me?" Trump said.

He also boiled down the war in Iraq for the conservative crowd.

"We build a school, we build a road. They blow up the road. They blow up the school. We build another school, we build another road, they blow them up," Trump said. "We build again, in the meantime we can't get a f-king school built in Brooklyn."

Trump, who was in the Silver State to attend the wedding of billionaire casino owner Steve Wynn, has spent the last two months questioning the president's birth place, an issue largely put to rest Wednesday when President Obama released the long-form version of the certificate.

Nevada may have an influential role in shaping the race for the GOP presidential nomination, with its caucus scheduled third in the primary and caucus calendar.

He's a whiner. The man has offered no solutions. He has no clue how the real world works. OPEC does not set the price, the markets do. OPEC can control how much they produce, which can have a major effect price, but OPEC does not set nor directily control the price.

Remember the time Bush went to Saudi Arabia to negotiate higher production back in 2008 when we were paying $4 at the pump? His request was declined. A Democrat promising and end to wars got elected, Saudis and Kuwaitis increased their production, the price of oil plummeted and we had $2 gas by Obama's inauguration day. Remember?

  20. Trump is Dumb

If it hasn't been made seriously clear to everybody that Trump has NOTHING, then you need to check your vitals. This egomaniac has nothing left behind his debunked Plan A – conspiracy theories other than lying about how the oil industry works to people that know better. And of course, being in business – Donald himself knows better. The oil industries around the world are in it for PROFITS. The US oil industry is not government controlled. No US President has ever had control over gas prices at any time. No president. Trump knows this. He is just blowing hot air for attention.

The fact that he is being taken seriously is an indicator that the country has already gone to hell. I live in NYC, and the Trump I see is one who before they even went to trial took out full page ads in the local papers and demanded the death penalty for 5 or 6 kids accused(accused mind you not convicted) of raping a woman in Central Park. When they were later exonerated by DNA and the confession of the true perpetrator, no apology from Trump. The Trump I have seen is a bully who pushes around those who cannot defend themselves, takes pride in cheating others and generally loses money for his investors. As for really running for POTUS all I hear is chickens clucking.

If Trump were a smarter person, I'd think this was all a big prank to make fools of Republicans by getting them to destroy their credibility by embracing an obviously ignorant, no-class, multiple-bankruptcy clown as a serious contendor. But, since Trump is well-established as a narcissist, I don't think he's trying to punk them.

But that's okay – the end result is the same, because Republicans are looking pretty hilarious now because of the figureheads they've been gathering around. Palin, Glenn Beck, and now this complete joke. They lose more legitimacy every day. That's good, though – whatever's bad for the Republican party is good for America. You need look no further than the results the deeply-red Southern states have gotten for their decades of electing Republicans to know their policies don't work.

So what if he said f***?? This is not 1950! Some people get pissed off at the fact that there is no regulation on these ABSURD gas prices!! It's all so true! Trump would be a good candidate because he can't be corrupted. What else do we have to lose?? Not jobs, houses, or money because George W took that off everybody's hands. Obviously Obama can't do anything. He's had long enough. He made all these promises when running for office, but has done NOTHING!! I have never liked Republican's or Donald Trump, but why not give him a shot? He's had some very good points and ideas so far! Something has to be done before there ends up being another civil war in this country. Only this time it won't just be the south rising up, it will be all 50 states!!

This country needs a "straight shooter" to clean up the mess our elected officals failed to deliver after getting our vote. Donald was not born rich, he doesn't back down on important issues. He understands that China and the Arab nations will soon control our country. He takes pride in being an American, understands we need a strong leader to step in and get the job done. I think Obama is overwhelmed and should resign. I can't believe Obama even wants to run again for a job he cannot do,as he promised voters. During his time in office, millions of middle class lost everything we have worked for our entire life! Our President appears to be afraid to take a strong stand. Big business rules this country. No jobs, no action, no money=the end of hope for the middle class. Rich people in control of America have no clue of the suffering the working class have experienced. I will vote for Mickey Mouse in the next election. The two party system no longer works. The constant banter between party lines is not productive.

No regulation. When the government steps in and tells a business what they should and shouldn't charge...that sounds a little like regulation to me Trumpy!

"They (OPEC) want to go in and raise the price of oil because we have nobody in Washington that sits back and says you're not going to raise that fu***** price, you understand me?" Trump said.

The crazy thing is that there are now those who think that lowering oil prices is just this simple. I promise if he were President and did this it would do absolutely nothing. He is pandering to the uneducated with promises like this.

Does he really think he has a shot at the Presidency? He is by no means a stupid man, so he has to realize that he is crass, rude, abrasive, and downright offensive - just what we need right now in the White House!
We need to regain our dignity as a great nation - not pull our reputation down further. If Trump is the answer, we could save a lot of taxpayer campaign money and just put a Bozo nose on Mr. Trump.

Everytime you say something you keep making yourself look more and more ignorant. Although, I am secretly thinking he is doing this on purposed. You DID SEE the article that he donates to Democrats as well...maybe this is secretly a Democrat Strategy...to get Donald to sink Republicans.

And is anyone else outraged by the fact that Obama was snubbed for the Royal Wedding? 40 Heads of States were invited and Obama was not one of them. Don't they know who he is? He is the King of America!!! But still, it just shows us how the rest of the world views our President. What sort of women's groups enjoy sitting listening to some bombastic dolt shout out profanities? Obviously, Mr. Trump is absolutely void of a single shred of class and I question the intelligence and class of the women listening to him. Certainly goes prove that money does NOT buy class! As a former republican (and embarrassed to even admit it!) I have sympathy for the long-time republican politicians who still possess class and integrity. Donald "Duck the Draft" Trump's solution for rising oil prices? He said it himself - it's to "sit back" and utter the F word. Wow, that would be quite the accomplishment for this son-of-a-multimillionaire who avoided serving his country in Vietnam thanks to multiple deferments, including one for mysterious medical reasons that he is afraid to discuss publicly. He also suggested that if Obama produced his long-form birth certificate, Trump would release his tax returns. Obama came through this past week, but Trump is not stepping up to the plate - he continues to hide his tax returns. It also turns out that Trump has not voted in three presidential primaries, showing once again the level of his commitment to his country and the level of his dedication to civic duty and responsibility. Trump is leading polls among Republican presidential hopefuls. If this is the best the GOP has to offer, independents will once again vote for Obama, assuring his re-election. Look for Trump to either duck the presidential race by June of this year or to go down in flames and feathers when the primaries begin next year. Ducking the draft and leadership, this Donald is daffy...

Trump has reneged on his "deal" with Obama. If he ran, then he has a grace period to file financial reports. But, Trump laid out no such pre-conditions or criteria when he offered his quid pro quo to Obama. The first rule in bluffing is that you should only do it when the other guy cannot least afford to do so. That rule is really common sense, a self-imposed test that Trump failed.

Why do we cheer on people with this type of mentality? Maybe because we love to laugh.

It sounds good to think that we are so powerful that we can threaten OPEC to drive down the price of oil. If that would work, we could threaten the health care and insurance industry and drive down medical cost and solve our budget problems in a few years. Stop using so much oil and it will drive the price down– that's common sense and sounds like what Obama's administration has been saying.

I'm a Republican, but anyone giving this clown (or Sarah Palin) any serious credence is a complete idiot. This guy is a corporation – you remember, those things that have been taking huge profits and not paying taxes, those things you've been railing against as the middle class gets bent over? Well, that's Trump. He gets where he is by taking advantage of people. And it's not like his financial prowess will get the country out of debt. He lives on debt, and has been in bankruptcy himself, a few times. Diplomatically he's the quintessential liability. In short, the guy knows how to promote himself and live in the real estate game, but he's an idiot in every other sense of the word.

Palin's just an idiot all around. Are these the people you want to represent YOU? If so, you deserve what you get. Between promoting morons like these two, and allowing the radical religious right to hijack the party, it's no wonder the Republican party is the political punch line that it is. It's a disgrace. Trump is a GOP diversion. He has no intentions of running for president, he wants to make sure the GOP wins in 12 so they can rob and steal more from us. His purpose is to say all the things all the of the other GOP candidates want to say but know if they do they’ll come off as racist and too extreme, thus alienating the independent voters. By acting like this Trump is making sure someone like Romney looks MODERATE, Independents will think “at least he’s not a lunatic like Trump”. Make no mistake this is all very calculated. At this point Im willing to try anything but your typical Rep or Dem. if the fat lazy and rich wont elect soemone who is serious and smart like say Ron Paul, laugh if you want but YOU are the stupid one, then heck, give it to Trump, why not. I would rather have a guy like Trump who wont take any BS from anyone, who would take what we should take and go to war over something everyone really has a stake in than these blowhard politicians who say one thing and do another. Personally I think we should tell the Saudi's their time is up, tax the heck out of China's imports, Let Israel deal with Iran by themselves, increase trade with Russia, stop giving the brits any attention at all, and stop policing and rebuilding the world or our time will be up, its the 11th hour people, china practically owns us and before long "at anytime they decide" they will claim america and we cant do anything about it except press a button, if those rusty junk bombs would even work now anyway. Once our ability to print money is up we are screwed. The ONLY reason we can is the dollar is the world currency, which is laughable at this point. China and Russia are very close to changing that reality, and Im telling you, you're all going to pay the price. ALL of you, its coming, go ahead stick your head in the sand as usual.

theres some truth to his rants, but him complaining about it in a speech isn't going to help. he should work with both parties to further America's peaceful cause to the rest of the world. He's got money, he should put some of that to work.

I am a Democrat and I do agree (very rarely) with Trump....but why are we wasting so much of our money rebuilding other countries when we don't have enough money for our own infrastructure? I am sure everyone is aware of all the budget cuts in education and elsewhere...AND for this, I am not blaming Obama either, these wars were started by that Republican President of yesteryear.

And Americans thought Charles Manson was nuts! This is a man who wants to run for President? Trump has definitely lost it.

Interesting comment about not being able to build a school in Brooklyn.

I am not a big fan of Trump but he is right, our President does not have a back bone.

The fact that conservatives have not unilaterally and publicaly disavowed Donald Trump speaks volumes about their character regarding social and fiscal issues. It just show that they are willing to ignore thier core values and principles, lay down and kick their heels up ... if the price is right.

He makes W. Bush seem like a responsible, cautious spoiled brat imbecile by comparison.

Banks have been Trump's "OPEC" for years.

Great language to win friends and influence people around the world. I'm sure the Saudies would be really responsive to him telling them they're not going to raise f..g oil prices. That would really go over well. A President with absolutely no class. If he didn't have money, i don't think he'd have many friends and certainly not very many wives.

    The Trump Business Model:
Create a LLC to construct and manage an office or luxury apartment building. Get a bank to invest your company noting the profits to be returned by feature leases. Get contractors to put up the funds to buy the materials and furnish the labor. When project is complete, stiff the contractors, file for bankruptcy, sell the company back to the bank, and walk away with the cash.

He certainly has an interesting approach to foreign affairs. What happens if he looks OPEC in the eye and says 'you're not going to raise the f...ing price of oil' and they look him in the eye and say 'f... you'?

May be we could get a school built and get better education for our kids if the F...king republicans wouldn't try to kill every education bill and hand out vouchers.

Trump tried the "birther" route and got spanked by Obama's releasing long form. He then tried the dirty trick (insulted every minority in the country) of saying Obama only got into college because of affirmative action and he got spanked again Out of new ideas, he goes with the "F" bomb and locker room talk. What's next?
