Signs of the times, or why we are in the end of days, according to prophecy

I put this here to help me save for my kiddos wii. I dont expect anyone to contribute but it will help me keep track of whats going on with it and help me save for it.

The Bible predicts that Rome (Europe) will come back in the last days.

The European Union made their chief military office with "EU recommendation #666"

I had to look that one up before I could believe it.

The European Union Signed their constitution on the same hill that ruled Rome for thousands of years.

is the EUs other stuff: Stamps, money, statues etc.


The world will see two prophets get killed and then get raised up, it says that people all over the world will see it. This is only now really possible with stuff like video cell phones and television.

It also said this would all happen when "knowledge would be increased and people would go to and fro about the earth with great ease." This has only happened in the last 100 years.
Also about the timing,

Jesus said that the generation that saw Israel become a nation would not go away until he came back. That happened in 1948 in May.

They will have to rebuild the temple in Israel. They all ready have the plans and they have made the gold stuff for it costing millions of dollars. They will need red heiffers that are perfect for temple sacrifices. During all the temple ages their were only 9 of these. On the earth now their are 3 which is really amazing.

They re-instated the council that tried Jesus the Sanhedrin after 1600 years. They need them for the temple.

They will rebuild the temple right after the Russian Iranian invasion of Israel.

Can anyone see in the news how that might happen?
Almost all the Arab nations come but Iraq is left out. Most all of the Arab and Russian forces will be wiped out.They will then burn the weapons of warfare for 7 years. The Russians who supply most of the armor use a laminated wood for armor which burns under intense heat and is a excellent fuel source.

When the invading troops die their eyes melt in their sockets and interestingly no one will touch the bodies. They will put flags there and walk away and professionals will come and pick them up. Israel has the neutron bomb tech which can be used in short nuclear pulses of a few miles radius. It kills all living things but will leave the vehicles. The bodies though would be radio active and need professional cleaning up.

The following is a article that talks about the antichrist.

Recently the eu made the most powerful office in its history with weu document number 666. Yes really, document #666!

I had to look it up on the EU site to believe it. (see post below) This office is in charge of eu security and will have use of the eu army in 2010.

One of his jobs is to make 7 year agreements with all the nations that insure the eu's interest.

The EU in Europe is the revived Roman empire that prophecy speaks about. This last world ruling empire will produce the antichrist. (the ten toes in daniels vision) He will come from Europe from rome reborn and sign a peace treaty with Israel for seven years that will start the worst period in all of human history, the tribulation, jacobs trouble. It will last for seven years. during that time 1/4 of the worlds population dies, then of what is left another 1/3 rd dies. 1/3 of all fresh water is gone. it will be the worst time ever. The next event on the prophetic calendar is something called the rapture. At that time all Christians looking for the rapture will be taken off the earth. Below is the article.

Friends, I believe the stage may be set for the events of the seventieth week foretold by Daniel the prophet. In the Old Testament book of Daniel we read:

And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week (seven years), but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate (Daniel 9:27 New America Standard Bible).

It is commonly believed the passage above foretells the rise of a strong leader from out of a revived Roman Empire who will make a seven-year covenant with Israel, which he will violate 3 1/2 years later. In other passages from Daniel, we learn this leader will rise from among a 10-nation alliance (Daniel 7:7-8). And, in the New Testament book of Revelation, we learn he will somehow be connected to the number 666 (Revelation 13: 18).

This appears to be exactly what we're seeing. As I've been reporting, a 10-nation alliance did appear on January 1, 1995. It's a 10-nation military alliance known as the Western European Union (WEU). These nations are members of both NATO and the European Union (EU). What binds these 10 nations together is their mutual defense obligation under the modified Brussels Treaty. They are also known as the Brussels Treaty Powers.

In December of 1998, at their Vienna summit, the EU's heads created the new Office of High Representative of Common Foreign and Security Policy for the European Union. The holder of this Office would be empowered by the member states to directed their common foreign policy toward Russia, Ukraine and the Mediterranean. The legal document that created this office was numbered 666.

In November 1999, Javier Solana, the former head of NATO, became the first person to hold this powerful new position. He was also made Secretary General of the Council of Europe. This is the main decision making body of the EU. The following month, Solana also became the Secretary General of the 10-nation WEU alliance. These three positions made Solana a very powerful new player on the world scene.

On June 5, 2000, the WEU adopted its Assembly Recommendation 666. The following month France, one of the 10 WEU nations, took over the EU's six month rotating presidency. It was immediately announced that the Assembly of the WEU would become the temporary assembly for the EU's new 10-nation military wing. Keep in mind, this is the same body that adopted Recommendation 666.

The infamous Solana Decision soon followed. This decision removed from public view all documents that the Council (Solana) thought should be kept secret. This move was interpreted by some to be a military coup. Looking back, it's obvious to me that's what may have occurred -- a 10-nation takeover of the EU. And, it was done implementing Recommendation 666.

These were amazing events and I detail them all in my book. And, also in my book, I often state that if these events were what I though they were -- fulfillments of Bible prophecy -- then they would lead to a seven-year agreement with Israel. Well, that may be exactly what we're now seeing.

You see, the EU's new constitution, combined with the EU's Neighborhood Policy (ENP) and the seven-year European Neighborhood Policy and Instrument (ENPI), may set the stage perfectly for the events of the seventieth week.

Unlike the US who's military is the primary weapon in the war against terror, the EU's primary weapon is economic. Solana's European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) is the EU's way of exercising its influence and is part of Solana's new security doctrine. It is primarily aimed at Russia, Ukraine and the Mediterranean. The ENP is a huge package of different types of deals for each participating nation. It also includes tailored action plans for each country and a monitoring program. And, these many deals and plans have different terms.

Here's where the seven-year element comes in. The EU has a seven-year budget term. So, Solana has been tasked with drawing up a new funding instrument for his ENP that will take over when the EU's new term begins on January 1, 2007. This new instrument is called the European Neighborhood Instrument (ENPI). It is basically Solana's new budget when he becomes super Foreign Minister and Commission Vice President. It's goal is to finance Solana's foreign policy objectives. Starting on January 1, 2007, the ENPI will begin funding all the action plans and deals for all these many nations. The long-term plans will be up to seven years. Again, there will be monitoring and reporting mid-term. A total review is to be completed by December 31, 2011.

It's a covenant with many. And, it's for seven-years.

Besides the extended powers provided Solana -- powers that will rival the new EU Presidency -- the Constitution of Rome sets a Headline Goal of 2010 for all Solana's civilian and military peace-keeping/peace-making capabilities to be deployable. These broad-ranging assets including 9 battle groups, heavy lift aircraft, aircraft carrier, satellite communications and much more.

Here's the way I see it: Beginning on January 1, 2007, Solana will have a huge expense account with which he can implement his ENP foreign and security policy for seven years. And, it's not hard to see how Solana's covenant with many could easily fall apart. If so, it's also not hard to see how Solana's emergency powers could be evoked 3 1/2 years later in 2010 when all his civilian and military capabilities are in place. It's also easy to see how Solana could receive emergency authority to act for the remaining 3 1/2 years of the seven-year term. And, this could lead to the final events of this age that are described in both Daniel and Revelation.

Friends, the stage may be set for the seventieth week of Daniel.

This is a little experiment to see if you ask for a digg will you get one. I thought it would be interesting to see if you could actually ask for a digg and get it or if it will be ignored. Just a little social experiment purely for fun.

I thought I would post this and then link to it, since I had this blog handy I put it here. I usually put in searches with "local pickup only" then name a large town near me. Then I set up these searches to e-mail me with the results. The local pickup only stuff gets very few bids.
As a example I recently bought a 1200$ tv for 71 $ that was broken but under warranty with Toshiba. So I went to Dallas got the tv boxed up and had ups pick it up and send it to Toshiba for a replacement.

I am not big on prophecy that doesn't come from the bible but I thought this snippet was interesting.

I read these words from St. Faustina's diary that were spoken to her by Jesus back in 1978. They were published before anyone had even thought of a Polish pope, but somehow one knew that Jesus was referring to this pope and twenty six years later the spark has spread it's fire throughout the world and the devotion to the Divine Mercy is one of the most popular."

The European unions currency is destined to be the worlds standard. Many countries that are hostile to the US are converting their currency because they dont want the US to have leverage over them by freezing thier assests.

As you are reading this Iran and Syria along with many others are converting all their banking deposits into Euros and away from the US dollar. The reason being stated to hide their funds from the possibility of the US freezing them. But there is a more sinister plot going on behind the scenes. What Iran is now doing is breaking with OPEC and establishing its own oil exchange called IOB (Iranian Oil Burse). For the first time all of Europe can purchase oil with the Euro instead of the dollar. With Europe as their largest oil customers it will be much easier for them and cheaper, possibly as much as 25% cheaper. This new plan of the Iranians is scheduled to go into effect this March. This will of course boost the Euro and cause a crisis for the US dollar. The bottom line is easy to see, this will destroy the US dollar and the economy.

I believe Babylon is the symbolic name for mankinds rule of the earth. As in Daniels interpretation of the dream of nebucannezer. The babylon spoken of here, the woman on the beast is the last incarnation of that rule, or the new roman empire. Jesus is supposed to come and destroy the last world empire and replace the empires of men. (see below)

The WEU is broken down into membership tiers: full members, associate members, observer countries and associate partner countries. In all, the WEU consists of 28 nations, but only 10 are full member countries.
All 10 full members of the Western European Union are, as a condition of membership, part of both the EU and NATO.
Although they are two distinct entities with different member states and different responsibilities, both are under the control of one man, Javier Solana, former NATO secretary-general and currently serving as both secretary-general of the WEU and the European Union's first constitutional foreign minister and sole spokesman for the Council of the European Union.
Before anybody quotes me as saying Javier Solana is the antichrist, I don't know who the antichrist is, and I really don't care.
What is relevant is that there exists, at this point in human history, a 10-core nation European defense collective consisting of the richest and most powerful nations in Europe. Javier Solana's dual role establishes the office of Head Guy Over All Of Europe – if it isn't Solana, the precedent has been established.
There is also a Jewish state called "Israel," reborn after two millennia on the same piece of land from which they were exiled, that emerged on the world stage at precisely the same point in history – 1948.
Since 1948, Israel has been locked in an unending series of wars with the many Arab states on all sides that are dedicated to her destruction. On Sept. 13, the Oslo Accords were signed, setting in motion a three-stage land-for-peace formula between Israel and the Palestinians.
The agreement was to have culminated seven years after it was signed with an agreement "on the final status of Jerusalem." That seven-year covenant failed and brought on what Israel calls the "Oslo War," which then brought Europe into the equation via the Quartet for Peace. All of this has placed Europe over the United States as the main peace broker.
Now we return to where I started, way back in 1969.
"We believe that the Common Market and the trend toward the unification of Europe may well be the beginning of the 10-nation confederacy predicted by Daniel and the Book of Revelation."
Is all of this just coincidence? I don't think so. That takes more faith to believe than to simply recognize that God has caused events to fit precisely into His predicted scenario.

IRANIAN PRESIDENT—LOOKING FOR MAHDI TO APPEAR SOON
If you have followed our ministry since the early 1990s, you are aware of the teaching of the coming Islamic Mahdi. According to the Shiite branch of the Islamic religion the 12th Imam disappeared as a child in A.D. 941.
Most Shiites believe he has been supernaturally preserved somewhere in the Middle East , either in Saudi Arabia or Iraq , and will re-emerge at the end of days.
They contend that he will unite the Islamic world in the end of days, and three things will happen:
He will lead an Islamic revival in which the Jews will be destroyed.
Christians will forsake their belief in the Trinity.

Bringing Back the Mahdi
Currently leading this revival of interest in the Mahdi is the new president of Iran , Mahmoud Ahamdinejad. This fanatical Muslim leader sees himself on a mission from Allah to “pave the path for the glorious reappearance of the Imam Mahdi.”
He is telling people in Iran to prepare for the coming of the Mahdi by turning Iran into a mighty, advanced Islamic society, and by avoiding the corruption and excesses of the West.
Ahamdinejad has restored the concept of the Hidden Imam as the central truth of Iran ’s political, cultural, economic and social life. He emphasizes the theme that the return of the Shiite messiah, the Mahdi, is not far off and Muslims must prepare for it!
Recently, the new president made very controversial statements that Israel should be wiped out, the Jews should return to Europe and the Holocaust was a myth.
The most disturbing rhetoric is his obsession with nuclear arms. The intelligence community is certain the Iranians want nuclear weapons, and would use them against Israel and the United states the moment they know they can.
A Nuclear Islam?
This pre-occupation with the Mahdi has the West concerned that a nuclear-armed Islamic republic could trigger a global nuclear conflict if they think it will help bring about the Islamic expectations of the end of the world!
The Mahdi is expected by some traditions to lead a war between the East and the West, in which the West will be defeated and the East will rise under the leadership of this Islamic savior.
Ahamadinejad claims he has secretly met with the future Mahdi. Sources in Iran say that he has written and signed a pact with the Hidden Imam and has asked all his officials to do so. He also claims that the Mahdi told him in a dream to destroy Israel and make plans to attack America .
The most stunning statement was when whose closest to the new president say they expect the Mahdi to appear within the next two years!
For those who have followed our prophetic teaching, I have been informing believers for years how the expectations of this Mahdi fit eerily with the prophecies concerning the final world dictator who will control the world for 42 months. He is known as the Antichrist.

The temple in isreal will have to be re-built to validate prophecy. In order to clense the temple they need the ashes of a pure red heifer. They are super rare. In the entire two temple ages only 9 red heifers were born in the last few years there have been three born. Here is the story of one... a red heifer was born in Israel. After the heifer's owner contacted the Temple Institute, on Friday, April 5th, 2001, Rabbi Menachem Makover and Rabbi Chaim Richman traveled to the farm where the heifer is located, to inspect and validate her status. The rabbis found her to be kosher and were satisfied that this heifer could indeed be a candidate to be used in the process of purification described in the book of Numbers, chapter 19. The sanhedrin are the jewish body that is supposed to certify the Messiah, They also tried Jesus the first time he was here. Prophecy tells us they will certify the comming antichrist instead. Read about it...A unique ceremony - probably only the second of its kind in the past 1,600 years - is taking place in Tiberias today: The launching of a Sanhedrin, the highest Jewish-legal tribunal in the Land of Israel.

Daniels vision of the history of civilization
All of histories major kingdoms were predicted by Daniel over 2000 years ago.

Babylon (golden head), Medo Persian (silver chest), Greece (bronze) and Rome (iron legs) today's EU are the ten toes of iron and clay mixed. He gives an accurate succession these world realms. In the book Daniel is called it:
"the head was from pure gold, the chest and the arms was from silver, belly and hips was from bronze, the legs from iron and the feet partly from iron, partly from clay." (Dan. 2:32 33)
Once again the Bible is the only holy book to consistantly predict the future. God, in the bible tells us this is how to know he is truly God. Peter called prophecy a light shining in a dark place.
Here it is from the bible:

Daniel 2:31-47 "You, O king, were looking and behold, there was a single
great statue; that statue, which was large and of extraordinary splendor,
was standing in front of you, and its appearance was awesome. 
32 "The head of that statue [was made] of fine gold, its breast and its
arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of bronze, 
33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. 
34 "You continued looking until a stone was cut out without hands, and it
struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay, and crushed them. 
35 "Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were
crushed all at the same time, and became like chaff from the summer
threshing floors; and the wind carried them away so that not a trace of
them was found. But the stone that struck the statue became a great
mountain and filled the whole earth. 
36 "This [was] the dream; now we shall tell its interpretation before the king. 
37 "You, O king, are the king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given
the kingdom, the power, the strength, and the glory; 
38 and wherever the sons of men dwell, [or] the beasts of the field, or the
birds of the sky, He has given [them] into your hand and has caused you to
rule over them all. You are the head of gold.

(This head was Babylon the worlds first great empire, they collected all
taxes in gold and had gold everywhere in the kingdom)

39 "And after you there will arise another kingdom inferior to you,

(the arms of silver, {they used silver a lot in their kingdom} the medes
and the persians. By the way the bible predicted cyrus {by name} would
come and take over babylon even though Cyrus was not even born yet)

then another third kingdom of bronze,

(this is the greeks, who used bronze weapons)

which will rule over all the earth. 
40 "Then there will be a fourth kingdom as strong as iron; inasmuch as iron
crushes and shatters all things, so, like iron that breaks in pieces, it
will crush and break all these in pieces.

(this is rome that broke up into two empires, rome and constantinople. They also used iron weapons)

41 "And in that you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and
partly of iron, it will be a divided kingdom; but it will have in it the
toughness of iron, inasmuch as you saw the iron mixed with common clay. 
42 "And [as] the toes of the feet [were] partly of iron and partly of
pottery, [so] some of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will be

brittle.

(this is rome re-born, most likely the EU who recently signed their
constitution on the hill that rome ruled from for centuries)

43 "And in that you saw the iron mixed with common clay, they will combine
with one another in the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one
another, even as iron does not combine with pottery.

44 "And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom
which will never be destroyed, and [that] kingdom will not be left for
another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it
will itself endure forever. (this is christs kingdom)
45 "Inasmuch as you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without
hands and that it crushed the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and
the gold, the great God has made known to the king what will take place in
the future; so the dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy." 
46 Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell on his face and did homage to Daniel, and
gave orders to present to him an offering and fragrant incense. 
47 The king answered Daniel and said, "Surely your God is a God of gods and
a Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, since you have been able to
reveal this mystery."

We are in the end of days! Thousands of years ago God wrote the future down in his book. Prophecy proves the bible.

The prophetic Word was confirmed to us. You'll do well to keep focusing on it. It's the one light you have in a dark time as you wait for daybreak and the rising of the Morning Star in your hearts. 2 Peter 1:19 (The Message)

I want to show you the biggest prophetic signs that are happening in our day.

Let me give you a little update on what's about to happen next. The rapture! Christians everywhere will be taken off the earth. We will stay with God and Christ during the marriage supper of the lamb for 7 years.

Soon after the nation of Israel will sign a peace treaty for seven years with the leader of Europe or the E.U. This will start the last seven years of history before Christ takes over the earth.

It will be the worst time in all history. 1/4 of all the worlds people will die during this time. Then after that 1/3 of what is left will also die. Most of the worlds fresh water will be lost. Jesus said there has never been a worse time ever and there never will be another time as bad.

The leader of Europe will make everyone take a mark on their hand or forehead. No one will be able to buy or sell without this mark. All who take the mark will be sent to hell forever and get the same punishment as the antichrist.

In the middle of the 7 years the antichrist will sit in the rebuilt temple and say that he is God. Then all hell breaks loose. The end of the seven years will bring about the battle of Armageddon. In the 200 mile valley of Armageddon the forces of the antichrist will meet the armies of China and the east. Blood from this battle will be up to a horses bridle.

As the world fights themselves and moves on Israel Christ will set his foot on the mount of olives. It will split the mountain in two parts and Jesus will destroy all the armies. There will be a earthquake so big that every structure on earth will fall down and all the mountains will be flat.

Jesus then takes over the earth for 1000 years. Animals will no longer eat each other and poisonous animals will no longer hurt anyone. At the end of 1000 years God will let the devil out of his prison and he will convince the people where Russia now is located to try to fight Jesus. He will destroy them all and then God will make a new heaven and a new earth where their are no more seas.

Love of God: "the Book of Daniel (chapter 9, verse 25) foretells the very day Christ would enter Jerusalem before his trial and crucifixion. The prophecy states: 69 weeks of years (69 x 7 = 483 years) would pass from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem, until the coming of the Messiah. (This is according to the Babylonian 360-day calendar, as Daniel was written in Babylon during the Jewish captivity.) Thus, 483 years x 360 days = 173,880 days. According to records found by Sir Henry Creswicke Rawlinson in the Shushan (Susa) Palace, and confirmed in Nehemiah 2:1, this decree was made on March 14th, 445 BC, by Ataxerxes Longimanus. Exactly 173,880 days later, on April 6th, 32 AD, Jesus Christ rode into Jerusalem upon a colt (fulfilling Zechariah 9:9). The world celebrates this day as Palm Sunday. Four days later, Christ was murdered upon the cross, and three days after His death, He rose from the dead. After showing Himself to His disciples, admonishing them to persevere despite persecution from this wicked world, He ascended into Heaven to await the end of this age.

I thought that was nice. On a scriptural basis not feeling Gods presence or wondering where he is usually always comes down to us not walking in love. We have become offended, or sinned, both are express exits from God's presence. Also when you are offend and walk out of love you stumble in the dark and don't know what your stumbling over according to 1 john. At those times I usually go over a few truths. Like that God loves me as much as he does Jesus. (he does you know according to the bible). I remember verses like, we love him because he first loved us, we have come to know and believe the love which God has for us, etc. Then I go over some kind and loving things God has done for me and then make sure I haven't become offended with my neighbor. If I have I repent and start loving that person. There is a good book about how the devil traps us and gets us out of the love walk. Its called the bait of Satan. It will help you avoid about 80% of what the devil throws at you.

right after I did that I had a lot of thoughts like, "it didn't work", "theres more to it than that", "you didn't believe enough", etc etc. I said in my mind, wait a minute! I did my part, I asked! thats all of my part God will do his part. (it sounds weird but not every thought is nessesarily your own, remember the birds in the parable of the sower? i.e. satan) Thats it end of story. Everytime some thought would try talk me out of it I would just say I did my part, I asked, God will do his part.

This is interesting, take a look at this post, its exactly 14,000 days (said to be a generation) from when Israel became a nation to the day of Rosh Hashanah. This is a very interesting coincidence. "No man knows the day or the hour" is generally a reference to the festival of Rosh Hashanah. The reason for that is that it was on a new moon. Back in those days no one knew exactly when a new moon began. It was in a two day time period though. They would watch for a sliver of light to appear on the moon to start the festival. There is a "last trump" reference in a rapture verse. The last trumpet that it talks about in the reference to the rapture is from a word that means a trumpet used in Rosh Hashanah. Anyway This is interesting...

Now back to considering the Last days generation. After John Zachary, determined that a generations length might be 14,000 days, he added that number of days to June 7, 1967, the day Israel again controlled Jerusalem. What he discovered seems truly amazing. The 14,000th day lands on Tuesday October 4th, 2005. This day is Rosh Hashanah for the year 2005. I sincerely believe that it is not just a coincidence that the 14,000th day is Rosh Hashanah. From our studies, we believe that Jesus will return on a Rosh Hashanah in the future, we just don't know absolutely for sure which year it will be. Now, there may be reason to believe that the year of our 'blessed hope' might be 2005. "

Salvation

There are several ideas about when the rapture will occur, the link above is a short "to the point" explanation of why I believe in the pre trib rapture. On a side note, I once asked Zola Levitt if he had to give only one reason why he believed in pre-trib what would it be. He said the one reason was that it had to be a "surprise". If it happened mid or post trib you could figure out to the day when it would occur based on prophecy. Also Hal Lindsey made the point that people would be oblivious that anything was occurring just as they were before the flood came. Business as usual. Well during the tribulation 1/4 of the worlds population will die, then after that 1/3 of what's left will die. Most of the worlds water will be un drinkable. Business as usual wont be going on. No one will be oblivious. If the rapture happened before the tribulation the description "business as usual" will be correct.

As most of you know the united states is not mentioned in the last days. The united states then must decline and cease from being a world power. The EU in Europe will be come the ten toes in Daniels vision and rule the world. China will soon become a world leader as well since they are the ones to launch a 200 million man army against the antichrist in battle called Armageddon. China is turning to the euro-dollar as its standard. With the high US deficit and other nations abandoning the dollar, the US will have to raise interest rates. This could lead to the decline of the US economy. My take on the matter is that the US sees some terrible calamities and then the rapture of the church occurs. This will take a (hopefully) large portion of the US population out. The "left" will be left to rule the united states. I think it might be possible that the US will meet the judgment described in Revelations 18. It may not be though. Opinions vary.

The recent earthquake in Asia that produced the huge Tsunamis (pronounced soo-nam-ee –) was called by one Fox News Commentator, "A disaster of Biblical proportions." The commentator may have unwillingly been speaking prophetically, when one considers how this event can be viewed in light of certain prophetic scriptures.
What caused this disaster?Many scientists believe that the continents of the earth were once connected, but during a cataclysmic event they became divided. This fact is evident when a person takes a world map and cuts out the continents. The continents can be placed together into one main landmass, similar to a jigsaw puzzle. We argue that before the flood of Noah the earth was one main land mass. However, the flood of Noah caused the "fountains of the deep to open," possibly shifting the platelets of the continents (Genesis 7:11).
The Bible gives us the name of a man, Peleg, and tells us that in his day "was the earth divided" (Genesis 10:25). In Hebrew, the name Peleg means "earthquake." The name could allude to a major shaking of the earth, which occurred sometime after the flood. We know the tower of Babel was destroyed and the universal language of mankind was divided, thus forming the languages of the world (Genesis 11).
Today, surrounding all of the nations of the world are huge bodies of water. These include the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, the Indian Ocean and others. The coastal areas surrounding these major oceans are from a series of platelets deep in the waters.
The recent disaster was caused by the shifting of two of the platelets, one that shifted above the other. This forced a huge amount of water to be pushed toward the coastal areas of nine nations, which are in the Pacific Rim.
When this shifting occurred, it created a 9.0 magnitude earthquake that was felt all the way into the Persian Gulf, where boats were tossed by the waves of water. It also created up to 30 feet high waves, which eventually made their way at 500 miles per hour onto the beach and coastal areas of these nine nations.
These two events happened at once – the largest earthquake on record in 40 years and the world’s largest disaster caused by the sea and the waves.
The Whole Earth ShookWithin hours of this disaster, one of the leading geologists from the United Nations stated that the entire earth shifted as a result of the earthquake and the Tsunami. This was a shocking statement, considering a prophecy Isaiah made concerning the coming Day of the Lord; the day God judges the earth during the time of tribulation:
"...For the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake." The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

While this event will occur during the future great tribulation, we have experienced a small preview of how this strange scripture could be fulfilled.
Every Island Moved They also indicated that during the tribulation a great earthquake, such was not in the history of the world will occur. This will cause "Every Island to be moved out of its place."
"There was a great earthquake...and the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places." - Revelation 6:12 and 6:14
The news commentators have already said that one was moved 100 feet during this terrible disaster. This was not the first time this has occurred, but again, it is a preview of the events, which will follow in the near future!
Sea and Waves Roaring During our recent Main Event Conference in Dalton, Georgia, I shared with the audience how the four major hurricanes in Florida were a sign of the "Sea and the waves roaring." This unusual prophecy is located in Luke’s Gospel, in Luke
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." - Luke 21:25-26
Thousands are now dead as a result of huge waves striking the coastlines of nine nations! I believe this is a major sign of the time of the end, prior to the return of Christ!
What is Going On?Perhaps we can sum this brief Internet update up with the words of Paul,
"For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now." - Romans 8:22
This is NOT the beginning of the tribulation. This is only the increase in the intensity of the birth pains (Matthew 24:8).

This gate was shut and will not be opened until Jesus came back.

In the book of Ezekiel 44:1-3, it says; "Then He brought me back to the outer gate which faces toward the east, but it was shut. And the Lord said to me, This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter by it, because the Lord God of Israel has entered by it; therefore it shall be shut. "

This gate is reserved for the coming Messiah. Many attempts have been made to open it. In 1917 Muslim leaders in control of Jerusalem tried and failed to break the prophecy and open the gate. On the exact day the workmen were preparing to demolish the ancient stone, the hand of God intervened and the city of Jerusalem passed out of Muslim control into the hands of the British.
In 1967 it was the same story all over again; Israel took over Jerusalem on the same day. More importantly, the Bible are refers to The Lord God of Israel who entered by the Eastern Gate, and who will again enter by it a second time. This prophecy can be speaking about no other than The Messiah (Al-Maseeh). It plainly calls Him the God of Israel. He is declared as "The God". The Bible declares that He is God in the Flesh. Who came to the Temple, left and will come back again.

John 3:16 (Amplified Bible)
16For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([a]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
Jesus suffered for you, please accept his gift.

Is this possible form the mark of the beast will take.? If not this a smaller version for sure. A electronic chip in the hand or forehead (because not every one has hands) will be required to buy or sell. No one will rob banks, or cheat on taxes. A dictators dream!
Revelation 13: 16-17 (Amplified Bible)
16Also he compels all [alike], both small and great, both the rich and the poor, both free and slave, to be marked with an inscription [[c]stamped] on their right hands or on their foreheads,
17So that no one will have power to buy or sell unless he bears the stamp (mark, inscription), [that is] the name of the beast or the number of his name.

Old testament verse refers to pre-trib rapture. From my readings I believe that Jesus will take christians from the earth just before the 7 year tribulation period. This was a verse that was mentioned on a recent bible program from Perry Stone, the episode was called Rosh Hashanah - The Day of Concealment. You can view the episode over the web if you would like.

Isaiah 26:
16 LORD , they came to you in their distress;
when you disciplined them,
they could barely whisper a prayer. [b]
17 As a woman with child and about to give birth
writhes and cries out in her pain,
so were we in your presence, O LORD .
18 We were with child, we writhed in pain,
but we gave birth to wind.
We have not brought salvation to the earth;
we have not given birth to people of the world.
(I think this describes the failure of the church and the Jews
to bring Gods word to the world)

19 But your dead will live;
their bodies will rise.
You who dwell in the dust,
wake up and shout for joy.
Your dew is like the dew of the morning;
the earth will give birth to her dead.
(I believe this refers to the rapture of the church)

20 Go, my people, enter your rooms
and shut the doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while
until his wrath has passed by. (I believe christians will be with God during the rapture)
21 See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling
to punish the people of the earth for their sins.
The earth will disclose the blood shed upon her;
she will conceal her slain no longer. "

On a side note, I once asked Zola Levitt if he had to give only one reason why he believed in pre-trib what would it be.

He said the one reason was that it had to be a "surprise". If it happened mid or post trib you could figure out to the day when it would occur based on prophecy.

Also Hal Lindsey made the point that people would be oblivious that anything was occurring just as they were before the flood came. Business as usual. Well during the tribulation 1/4 of the worlds population will die, then after that 1/3 of what's left will die. Most of the worlds water will be un drinkable. Business as usual wont be going on. No one will be oblivious. If the rapture happened before the tribulation the description "business as usual" will be correct.

Electronics will soon allow the mark of the beast to become reality. Did you know they monitor almost all e-mails now? or that the average american is on camera many times a day without knowing it?

Anyone think that nuclear war might be in our future?

Middle East Invasion Map and Legend

This Map shows the comming invasion of Isreal from Russia and the Middle East. God will destroy 7/10th's of the forces comming against Isreal. The bible says their tounges will melt out of thier mouths and that their eyes will melt out of their sockets. Isreal has mini-nukes developed with nutron bomb tech. This would allow them to destroy all the armies but leave their weapons in tact. It says that Isreal burns the weapons for 7 years. The russians make a lot of their armor out of a swedish invention of super compressed wood. This wood burns better than coal but takes a intense heat to make it combust. It is stronger and lighter than steel.

What explains this scriptural silence? Mark Hitchcock, contributing editor to the Left Behind Prophecy Club, outlines four possible explanations on why America is not specifically referred to in prophecy.
Possibility 1
America will still be a powerful nation in the last days, but the Lord simply chose not to mention her specifically.
This is possible, but it seems unlikely. In Scripture, the dominant political and military power in the end times is centered in the Mediterranean and in Europe. This scriptural silence concerning America seems to indicate that by the time the tribulation period arrives, America will no longer be a major influence in the world.
Possibility 2
America is not mentioned specifically in Scripture because she will be destroyed by other nations. She will suffer a fall from the outside.
Those who hold this theory are quick to point to the notion that America will be crippled by a nuclear attack. However, in recent days the terrorist attacks on our nation have led some to conclude that our own freedom and technology will be the Achilles' heel that brings us down.
Possibility 3
America is not mentioned in Bible Prophecy because she will have lost her influence as result of moral and spiritual deterioration. She will suffer a fall from the inside.
As you can imagine, this is a very popular view today in light of the moral malaise we see all around us. Proponents of this view have no trouble citing alarming statistics related to drug use, alcoholism, teen pregnancy, children born out of wedlock, divorce, pornography, abortion and on and on.
Possibility 4 (this is the one i think will come true-tim)
America is not mentioned in Bible Prophecy because she is brought to her knees by the Rapture.
If the rapture were to happen today and all the true believers in Jesus Christ were whisked away to heaven in a split second, America would be devastated. It is estimated that America will lose somewhere between 25 and 65 million citizens: Christians and their small children. Not only would the country lose a minimum of 10% of her population, but she would also lose the very best, the "salt and light" of this great land (see Matthew 5:13-14).
