Noble County Giver of Gifts Recognizes website

"Clara J Whan nominated by Noble County Genealogical Society. The Noble County Public Library has one of the best genealogical websites in the nation, and people from not only Noble County, but from all
over the world, benefit from the volunteer efforts of Whan, it was noted.   Whan is credited with almost single handedly developing the website and continues to keep it updated on a daily basis. She does the
research as well as the typing and the input to the web, and it would be impossible to estimate how many hours she has donated to this project. "
There are literally thousands of pages of Noble County vital and historical records available on the website that are there only through the efforts of this one individual, society officials wrote in their
nomination of Whan.
