The search engines will ignore the code on a web page with errors and lower the ranking of the page in question. Logically, would you rank a page with errors ahead of a page that is recognized as clean? It looks like I won't be hired by companies that do not admit to this short-coming in their analysis of web pages. As an example, a page like MSN validates completely. Microsoft will not except imperfections when it comes to search engines. Don't let web designers con you by saying that correct code is not important and that your site is already on the Internet, anyway. The browser is "guessing" at what your site looks like right now, if you have errors on the pages.

Three things are essential according to Google for great search engine results: keywords being maximized (No more then 20 per page with a 3% to 5% density of the keywords), perfect coding, and links to key players in your industry to help the search engine spiders find your site. Let me know if you wish to proceed. Be leery of web designers that say they handle SEO and do not know how to read/write correct code. Look for the validation link on the bottom of their web pages from W3C if they are legit.
Due to numerous request, I now offer monthly/quarterly maintenance of your web site after the major SEO work is done. Included in the re-submission of your web site when new updates are done, I will also have a fee schedule for the re-writing of your text on your web pages with the correct keyword density needed for your web pages. This will help improve the rankings of your web pages in an organic search. (Fees will be based on a case-by-case basis on whether you wish to have your pages re-done monthly-Optimum results or quarterly-minimum but acceptable results)
