Trick Out Your Pinterest Boards With This Simple Hack

Do you remember those awesome Facebook and Google+ profile hacks?

Well, Nick McGlynn, a creative Pinterest user, has done something similar on the new social service, “hacking” a Pinterest board to display one image sliced into nine sections.

Inspired by McGlynn, we have put together a super-simple, Photoshop-free how-to that demonstrates how you can “hack” your Pinterest boards. Have a read through our easy-peasy walkthrough. Link us in the comments to your Pinterest hacks and we’ll feature the best submissions in a forthcoming Mashable gallery.

Thanks for this tutorial. I will use it a’plenty.

    • Thought it made it more interesting to chop up a message in the description for the user to read if they click on board and go to the individual block images. Also linked each image to my personal website and Solvate profile with the URL field. :)

  5. It defeats the purpose of purpose. Sure, it makes up one big photo as a board, but in your feed, it’s just a bunch of chopped up images not meant to be re-shared.

  6. I tried it, my head looks kinda strange but its cool http://pinterest.com/reebes/

  7. You’re awesome, Amy! So, I took the idea and decided to link up “pieces of me”. For each picture I have a link to a part of the interwebbings in which you may find me! Check it out!
