well thats pretty easy if you what are ethos, pathos, and logos:
For example;
ethos: Ethos is appeal based on the character of the speaker so whenever Obama speaks he attracts the listener even u r democrat or no you can feel that attaraction and you can feel some magic may be magic of truth; thats called Ethos.
Pathos: means persuading by appealing to the listener's emotions. LIke when candidate bring a military man;s mother on the stage and after that give their policies about war or so ... so at the begining they make th audience emotional abt that topic then they spak abt their plan so its kind of using or driven their emotions to some area of intrest ( and by the way its not bad its useful in politics as public tend s to follow the one who has emotions as we are all emorional at some points).
Logos: Mean persuading by valid reasoning like Obama says we want change we will change the politics he give reasons for that he tells the public how he will make a change he tells tat he has not a magic lamp but he has stretigies and he will use them this way or that way so thats logos and when Mccain says we will change he dont know how he will change...LOLs,.... no offese.
So thats what tehy are.
hope i can answer it the way u wanted
