Before i start just to tell you that QuickPWN is what you need to install on your comp to jailbreak your phone
1. plug in you iphone 3g
2. download this :
QuickPWN 2.2.1 (Windows)

3. If you have a Mac computer download the Mac one, if you have windows download the windows QuickPWN.
4.Install and open QuickPWN, when you have opend QuickPWN, click on the blue arrow in the right bottom hand corner
5.On step 2 you will see a pic of an iphone, next to it you will see a box and next to it it will say browse browse for the firmware which you have download on step 2 ( you may not need to browse for the firmware
it may have already located it and have it in there, click the blue arrow again.
6. On step 3 click on Cydia and Installer, leave everything else unticked, click on the blue arrow
7.then it will ask you to make sure you have your iphone plugged in, click on the blue arrow
8.Next this is wheere it gets hard you will have to follow the steps that it says carefully
9.for me my iPod touch takes ages to turn on, so dont worry if your iphone takes ages to turn on just wait and leave it.
