English: Monument with Mao Zedong's dedication to the people of Wuhan overcoming the Yangtze Flood of 1954. It is an obelisk located in Wuhan's Yanjiang Park (near the shore of the Yangtze River in Hankou), decorated with the portrait of Mao Zedong, his poem "Swimming" (游泳) (1956), and reliefs showing the people fighting the flood. This photo shows the front of the monument, with Mao Zedong's inscription (top) and the text of his poem "Swimming" (1956) (bottom)
Русский: Монумент Мао Цзэдуна, посвященный победе народа Уханя над наводнением реки Янцзы в 1954 г. Расположен в уханьском Приречном Парке (Яньцзян Гунъюань) на левом берегу Янцзы (Ханькоу), и представляет собой обелиск с портретом Мао, его стихотворением "Плавание" (1956 г.), и барельефами, описывающими борьбу уханьцев с наводнением.
