SEVEN Steps to Getting YOUR

System Setup Quickly

Start Your Conversations on a Positive Note

Named after Socrates the great philosopher, this technique is called the “Socratic Method” He understood this principle, and used it way back when …

Studies in human behavior show that we have an instinctive leaning to move in either a positive direction, or a negative one, when we are communicating with one another.

If the conversation starts out negative, it will have a tendency to continue in a negative vein.  On the other hand, if the conversation begins on a positive note, it will have a tendency to continue positively.

Which of these two approaches do you think would result in a positive and constructive conversation about lead generation?:

  • Let’s begin with you telling me what you are currently doing to generate leads.

                    OR

  • Why don’t you have any leads?  What are you doing? Are you doing what I told you to do?

The first example has a positive, helpful tone to it, while the second is confrontational and negative.

Keeping this in mind, try to begin all conversations in a positive, agreeable mode.  Discuss things that you agree on and the conversation will take on a positive tone.  stress the fact that you are both striving for the same thing; the only difference is your method for achievement.

In relation to your Internet Income Opportunity, your common goal is success, making a living with your Online Marketing Business Opportunity.  You are now on common ground that you can agree on and discuss.

This principle works very well in everyday life, as well as Direct Sales Marketing.  Give it a try, what do you have to lose?
