What is the smoking policy for students in Madison, WI high schools?
It doesn’t matter if you smoke or hate smoking, that isn’t related to the question. I am asking about smoking on school grounds, like during lunch break, at high schools in Madison, WI. I have heard from a student that it is maybe not allowed but the policy is never enforced. True?

It might be tough for you to get an answer here, since your question is so specific. Your school should have given you some kind of "student handbook" where all the rules are spelled out. If you don’t have a copy of this, maybe you can ask the office for one, or look around the school for posters about the rules. Most teachers are required to have these on their walls.
If you don’t find anything about the smoking policy, your next step would be to ask a teacher. Try to say it in a positive way, like "Are there any areas on campus where 18-year-olds are allowed to smoke?" They should be familiar with all the rules for your school.
