Fulfilling, meaningful, inspiring, integrated life and “income-producing playtime” (i.e., work) = happy life.

The ideas behind this:

1. Everybody’s life purpose, in addition to your unique life purpose (or soul purpose), is to be happy and to create their reality. So, if you’re not experiencing a life of joy and the life you’ve created is not what you want – then you must take action to fix it.
2. We spend the greatest proportion of our lives at work. If we are not happy and fulfilled in our work, then our lives are squandered. We try to cram our life – our “real” life – into the moments between work when we are not so tired and burned out we just fall asleep in front of the TV. Weekend warriors all.
3. We seek meaning in our lives. We obtain fulfillment through the things that give us meaning. While this is not always work-related (e.g., family, hobbies, friends, recreation), a great deal of it is (see point #2).
4. If we seek work that is in alignment with (an expression of) our soul-level gifts and purpose, then we will experience a great deal of fulfillment and meaning.
5. If we seek work that can be integrated into our lives, then we experience freedom, flexibility and natural flow. Our lives are easier and more enjoyable. Life and work become simply “life”.
6. Money is not the only currency of prosperity! The 3 F’s: Freedom, flexibility and fulfillment are the currencies of the New Rich – as well as money. While there may be jobs like this available out there somewhere…the truth is, in order to obtain work that satisfies your soul – your purpose – and brings you prosperity in all realms, you will very likely have to create it. And that means business.
7. Work can be a spiritual path of growth and enlightenment. (See point #4). Life and business/work, integrated with spiritual principles becomes Simply Divine Life!
8. Happiness in one area of our life spills over into other areas of our lives. This creates an overall holistically happy life. Especially if the one area is a significant proportion of it! A case in point – remember when you were in love and how that made your crummy burger-flipping job bearable? What if you were in love with your work?! How would that change your life?
