Are you a management or strategic communications consultant who is committed to integrating pro bono work into your career? Do you want to manage a national campaign to enable all business professionals to engage in pro bono service in their communities by 2020?

Historic Campaign – Pro Bono 2020
Today we take it for granted that most lawyers do some pro bono work regularly. This was not always the case: shortly after passing key civil rights legislation President Kennedy convened 250 leading attorneys and challenged them to increase their investment in pro bono service to ensure the real implementation of the historic new civil rights laws. Created out of this challenge, the Pro Bono Institute led a generation long-effort to create today’s deeply ingrained pro bono legal culture.

The Taproot Foundation has just begun working with the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation to broaden pro bono to the broader business community, and with them has established the Pro Bono 2020 campaign. It’s goal: $1 billion of pro bono services donated by the corporate sector before 2020.
