Lost but Happy 2010 Tomas Karkalas

This is the third picture of Layers of dream. The composition of the painting Lost but Happy is similar to Last play and Layers of dream, yet the mood of the artwork differ from prior images greatly. That characterizes Tomas sketchbook ... in case the pictures talk indeed, what was silenced should be obvious to you too. If 'that' mystery remained, any further explanations wouldn't help too.

Other pictures of Tomas Karkalas look a bit otherwise, yet they all belong to the same category of art.
If style of the paintbrush strokes mean nothing indeed, then what makes the beauty in the concrete?
Can the visual thoughts  be free from the quality of the shapes that compose them?
When I survived after the terrible head trauma, I was considered as the hero, yet the disability express some kind of weakness. Plus it's common to think that people are responsible for their experiences.  So what does express my digital painting the layers of dream ?


While looking from outside in, it became obvious that I fear just the shopping festivities (being alive and having a purse are too different things) But I am not the helpless. I can spread my diary and am glad to do that.
In other words, people with disabilities has something to choose too - they can push either publish or delete buttons. My choice was to stay in touch with you.

The best way to succeed is to start the gratitude list. The key word is ‚to start‘ That‘s a secret. You do not really need to write the list. You need just to wish to open your eyes with the gratitude. While writing down the things you are grateful for may be beneficial, you always will come across with something not listed in your calculations. Look at the photo Sweet Autumn above. Meanwhile the wish to be grateful is free from such failures. You need just to open the eyes with the readiness to start with the smile.
