April was an enormous month for Tuts+. In one month Tuts introduced Creative Sessions, teaching the theory behind the techniques and practices that get used in tutorials and by professionals in the field. We also saw Cgtuts+ and Activetuts+ commence their Premium Programs and introduced Moneybookers as an alternate payment method, for those who don’t have PayPal. On top of that we also introduced Pre-paid memberships so if you don’t have a credit card, you can still become a Premium Member. Best of the Web – September 2009

The month of September offered a lot of interesting resources for the graphic designer, and we’ve taken all the resources offered and made a balanced list of the best tutorials, freebies, and articles on the web. This month we included something for everyone, from the casual designer to the serious one we have tutorials as well as articles that will interest them.

For tutorials we have a few very cool typography tutorials, that include a realistic fire effect along with a neon effect. As for the articles, we have an interesting article on the origin of the “I Love NY” logo, and also an article about a compilation of the best graphic design books out there. On top of that we have another great group of freebies, including vectors, wallpapers, and icons. So lets take a look at September’s Best!

What’s Coming Up in September!

It’s been a hectic 3 days for us here at Envato. We’ve had a massively successful Birthday Bundle (over 5,000 sales in 3 days), lots of giveaways, a fantastic Tuts+ tutorial set up for free download and our first video interview. Here in the office we’ve also been celebrating today with a big lunch and lots of network gaming!
