Compass of Mind

Moonlight Sonata

Juice got me swollen,

What have I done to become unholy,

Lord will you show me,

Give me a sign and a warning,

Is what I’m doing a crime?

For every time I spit what is inside my mind,

They seem to love to hide and remain blind,

Closed thoughts and eyes manifested with the lies,

If so many people believe in You,

Why can’t they see what is true?

That we don’t even exist,

But just a mirror image,

Of what is just a mist,

Fallen from the sky like droplets,

Mother nature and her beautiful form,

How you created her to nurture our storms,

Or the books passed down to us,

In guidance towards the light,

Thoughtful of You I might say,

But what about the children that helplessly lay?

At night with no shelter and no bread,

Did the devil take them away,

Or is it us with so much,

That forget and get lost with the lust,

Where in the end we will lay,

Helplessly with no shelter and no bread,

While those children become blessed,

In the after life where this world was just a test,

Oh how we failed and others passed,

Oh how they seem to think all this power will ever last,

I hope they see the true meaning of life,

While I remain in the dark searching the walls for light,

For I know nothing,

Just a traveller on his way to his flight,

Until then in the night I remain,

Head down,

Praying.
