Job Description

One of largest retail banks in the UK has established a new marketing function within Group Marketing and is looking to recruit two Marketing Insight Analysts.  A recent integration programme has resulted in a big investment in leading edge marketing infrastructure. These roles will reside in the Customer Contact and Evaluation team focussed on taking new systems and creating personal and meaningful interactions with customers and generating measurable business value. 

The successful candidate(s) will be working on a number of small and large projects with a wide range of people to deliver new types of marketing campaign, overhaul processes and derive meaningful insight from analysing customer's behaviour.

Essential:

• Analytical and numerate mindset: Proven ability to boil down a problem to the essential elements and work logically and rationally to drive to a solution and recommendation.
• Quick thinking, Initiative, Energy, Self Starter.
• Desire to learn and try new things.

Desirable:

• SQL coding skills - experience of working with very large datasets on huge databases
• Strong Excel skills
• An eye for detail and precision, naturally think through all implications and exceptional circumstances when building a solution to a problem.
• Experience of documenting and improving processes
• Great communication, presentation and influencing skills
• Planning and control: Experience of working with hard deadlines for activity, and the need to plan numerous tasks across functions to ensure delivery.

Bonus:

• VBA programming experience
• Experience of working on large data-driven marketing campaigns
• Knowledge of retail financial services product economics
• Line management experience
• Statistics background
