Let me help you with your search for higher SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Unlike some SEO companies that stress keywords, I will check your website for coding errors. I closely
follow Google Guidelines for Webmasters and SEO optimization. A number of companies recognize the importance of having a website comply to W3C Standards. I have 10+ years in the industry.
The search engines will ignore the code on a web page with errors and lower the ranking of the page in question. Logically, would you rank a page with errors ahead of a page that is recognized as clean?
It looks like I won't be hired by companies that do not admit to this short-coming in their analysis of web pages. As an example, a page like
http://www.msn.com validates completely. Microsoft will not except imperfections when it comes to search engines.
Just so you can see what I told about SEO as being true, I found this article from Google that describes what I talked about:
http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769 When you get the chance, read over the web master guidelines.
To have optimum SEO, you need to include relevant links on your pages from major players in your industry, have relevant keywords (no more then 20), and have the code on the web page be clean, also.
