Dead birds in South Dakota poisoned by government - 'dirty bird' kills common

200 dead birds in Yankton, South Dakota were just another unexplained dead bird event until the USDA called officials in Yankton. The dead birds, which were lining the park of the small South Dakota town, were the results of the government poisoning these birds.

These birds were poisoned 10 miles away from Yankton, just over the border in Nebraska. The birds fate was decided by the USDA after they “terrorized” a feed yard, according to the Daily Mail.  The birds were defecating on feed storage, causing a threat to other animals and farm workers. 5000 starlings were targeted with poisonous bait set out by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) at the feed yard.

This flock of 200 birds surprised authorities by ingesting the poison and flying the 10 mile distance before dropping dead from the skies.

Authorities in South Dakota first thought that the dead birds were victims of the brutally cold weather, until the USDA contacted Yankton’s officials.

With the mass bird deaths reported around the globe in the last few weeks came a “government conspiracy theory,” along with others. The government theory may not be that far fetched.

According to the Natural News website, the government does these mass bird kills for various reasons on a regular basis. It is not only birds that are killed according to the USDA website. Bears, Beavers, and Bison also appear on their spreadsheet of animal kills along with the birds.

It is so common that the name for this poisoning project is “Bye Bye Blackbird.” The incidents are very similar to the 5000 targeted starlings in this case. A farmer complained that the birds were defecating in his feed meal, the USDA came out and baited the birds with poisonous food.  The government has killed over 4 million birds over the past several years, according to the website Truthout.

As the website, Natural News asks, “why wouldn’t they cover the feed instead of killing all those birds?

Although this is the only bird kill the USDA has taken responsibility for, there have been many more mass dead birds and fish deaths around the globe in the last few weeks. Cows and Buffalo have also been found dead in masses. Cows in Wisconsin and Buffalo in Vietnam were the latest mass dead animal events.

The mass animal die offs have been occurring for centuries, it is a natural occurance. Just over a century ago, in 1895, dead fish were reported in lakes around Middletown, Connecticut and cows died in Watertown, Connecticut in 1879. Both these incidents are documented in New York Times articles from those years. The difference today is that many mass animal deaths are being reported within a short amount of time, all within a few weeks.
