ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Lead the design and development for the new game sites, features and new product line.
•Troubleshoot and resolve production problems in parallel with project works.
•Investigate inefficiencies in the current systems, recommend changes, and design/develop those enhancements, either from scratch or utilizing existing interfaces.
•Interact with marketing and game teams to understand application and gather requirements and to deliver creative solutions that address such requirements.
•Document both high and low level designs.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•4+ years experience in Web development, from design through development, testing, and deployment.
•Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
•Experience with Web development languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, AJAX and JavaScript.
•Knowledge of Object Oriented design and programming.
•Experience with Linux and Windows servers.
•Knowledge of RDBMS based on MySQL and MS SQL Server in high transaction/volume systems.
•This position requires a strong dedication to design quality, communication skills, aesthetics, user satisfaction, attention to detail, and a self-motivated attitude to follow through on various issues.
•Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with dynamic job responsibilities and priorities.
•Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with other staff members, to complete short and long term projects.
•Ability to work and communicate with technical, as well as non-technical, team members.
•Flash experience.
•Nice to have: Knowledge of object/relational persistence/IOC framework such as Spring-Hibernate, Java, ASP.
