just why in the world, I am selling my dream retreat, which I built new in 1988.
(wow this is not easy). Well, take a look at some of the photos, and perhaps you will
begin to understand, that I really do NOT want to sell the damn thing...lol
But at least, I am hoping to pass this on, to an equally excited person(s).
Rather than go on and on, I would like to meet you
and explain in person, what it is that I am LOOKING FOR in a buyer.
I want to come back here years from now, and know that you are as super happy
with the house, as I have been.
I bought the land in 1978 and waited 10 years to design and build, what is here today.
First of all, the inside is really intense. Lots of intense woodwork, partially because I was
lucky enough to have connected with a retired cabinet maker, who tolerated my detailed demands
at every point in the construction.
On matters like this, I really think the pictures speak for themselves.
The home has a very NON imposing street appearance, due to the fact that I really enjoy drawing
AS LITTLE ATTENTION TO MYSELF as I can...That is just the way I like things.
BUT INSIDE, it has a feeling, which is nothing short of spiritual.
As in a small meditation site.
When we meet, I will have the detailed plans, with me.
I know absolutely every board etc. in the place, and am looking forward, to the rare
persons, who actually CARE about matters such as these mundane matters (I.E. it can be boring).
BUT when you do a LOT in a relatively small space, these things can get really exciting.
(like building a small houseboat, for example, where every detail is done in such a way,
that you would NEVER BE BORED being in the face of it 24/7.)
(actually the more I try to describe it , the more I think I am a little "off", to be passing this on.)
IF any of this makes ANY sense, then we should meet, because I am trying
to relocate asap, my new adopted family, which needs to live in the east bay, in a fairly large
(boring?) home, with lots of private spaces...oh my.
My name is Arthur Pritchard and my cell is 510 912-2887.
AND I promise, I will try to NOT cry in front of you...
btw the house is two levels, and designed to flip into a duplex arrangement on short notice.
Total square footage, is about 2000, and the physical layout is a trilevel, on a very gentle downward slope with
a very deep yard.

btw my children will have the photos ready by about 2 pm tomorrow.
