Our client, a well respected leader in their industry, is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their San Francisco office. General Duties and Responsibilities: • Assists in the development and implementation of department’s goals, and policies & procedures. • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the corporate accounting department, including month end close process, A/P, A/R, G/L and Payroll to ensure all transactions are accounted for in accordance with U.S. GAAP • Responsible for performing international and multi entity consolidations • Manages the quarterly reviews and annual audits • Assists management with developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of internal controls • Develop and mentor staff of 5 • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Controller
Minimum Requirements: • BS in Accounting • CPA preferred • At least 7 years experience in the accounting field • At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience • Ability to interface with team members at all levels and positive attitude • Self motivated and possess positive attitude
