Subrah S. Iyar
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

As co-founder of WebEx Communications and as Chairman and CEO, Subrah S. Iyar has led the company in a continuous cycle of innovation and growth, enabling WebEx to become the leader in what IDC has identified as “a potentially multi-billion dollar market” in just five years. Under his guidance, WebEx has developed into the global leader in interactive Web communication services.

Mr. Iyar has been an innovator in the high tech industry for over 19 years, previously holding senior positions with Intel, Apple Computers, Quarterdeck, and Teleos Research. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.


Michael T. Everett,
Chief Financial Officer

Michael joins WebEx as a seasoned executive with almost 30 years of financial, legal and general management experience. He has worked extensively in both Europe and Asia and has lived in Hong Kong on two different assignments. He has served as the Chief Financial Officer of several public and private companies, including Netro Corporation, a broadband wireless equipment manufacturer that he led through a successful IPO in 1999, and Raychem Corporation, a Fortune 500 telecommunications and electronic components supplier. Before joining Raychem in 1987, he practiced securities law as a partner at Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe in Palo Alto, Hong Kong and San Francisco.

Michael holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.


David Berman,
President of Worldwide Sales & Services

As president of worldwide sales and services, David oversees the company’s global sales organization. David has 13 years of sales and leadership experience in the software as a service industry. A WebEx veteran, he is responsible for the creation and leadership of the company’s very successful web-touch sales organization. Prior to joining WebEx, David worked for Automatic Data Processing’s Employer Services Division for six years, where he was responsible for building high performance sales teams, developing strategic relationships and negotiating acquisitions in a variety of leadership positions. He began his professional sales career at Xerox Corporation.

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.


Rick Faulk,
Chief Marketing Officer

Rick is responsible for the company's overall go-to-market and customer acquisition strategies. Rick joins WebEx with more than 20 years of executive management, sales, and marketing experience in the high-tech industry. Previously, Rick served as president and CEO of Intranets.com, which was acquired by WebEx in October 2005. Under Faulk's leadership, Intranets.com was named one of the fastest growing private companies two years in a row by Inc. Magazine and Deloitte and Touche. Before Intranets.com, Rick was the vice president of corporate marketing at PictureTel and was responsible for all aspects of corporate marketing. Rick also served as the vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Shiva Corporation. Prior to Shiva, Rick was vice president of corporate marketing at Lotus Development and founded First Software, a software distribution company, which he grew to more than $150 million in revenue.

Rick holds a BS in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.


Gary Griffiths,
President, Products and Technical Operations

As president of products and technical operations, Gary Griffiths is responsible for all WebEx products, including strategy, research and development, product management, network and MediaTone operations, and customer technical support. A twenty-five year veteran of the high-tech industry, Griffiths was the CEO of on-demand application company Everdream for the past six years, and held senior management positions with IBM for more than 16 years. He was also the CEO and co-founder of SegaSoft Networks one of the pioneers in interactive entertainment. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Gary served as an officer aboard nuclear fast attack submarines for five years, and was an associate professor of systems engineering at the US Naval Academy.

He has a BS is Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MS in business administration from the George Washington University.


Kelly Steckelberg,
Vice President, Finance and Controller

As vice president, finance and corporate controller, Kelly is responsible for managing WebEx's worldwide accounting and SEC reporting activities. Kelly comes to WebEx with more than fifteen years of financial management experience. Prior to joining WebEx, Kelly was the senior vice president of worldwide finance at customer relationship management software provider Epiphany. Kelly also held a variety of finance positions at PeopleSoft, a provider of enterprise software applications, both in the United States and Europe. Kelly began her career at KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP.

Kelly holds a B.S. in Accounting and an M.S. in Professional Accounting, each from the University of Texas at Austin and is a CPA.


David Farrington,
Vice President, General Counsel

David was a partner at the law firm of Skjerven Morrill Macpherson LLP, in San Jose, California prior to joining WebEx. During his 8 year tenure at Apple Computer, David held a number of senior positions. These positions included senior director of Apple’s corporate development group, associate general counsel in charge of legal support for Apple’s worldwide sales and marketing organization, and director of Apple’s technology law group.

David holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a J.D. from Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco.


Steven Li,
Vice President, Technology Innovations

As the Vice President of Technology Innovations, Steven is responsible for the long term product and technology vision at WebEx, as well as pursuing external growth opportunities through investments and M&A activities. Prior to returning to WebEx, Steven was the vice president of worldwide site platform at Amazon.com where he was responsible for the customer facing technology platform as well as the daily operation of the Amazon web sites. Before that Steven was the original vice president of engineering at WebEx, he built the engineering organization and the first generation of on-demand web collaboration applications. Steven was also the vice president of engineering at Lyrehc Corp., and has worked for other technology companies in the Silicon Valley such as FutureLabs, Oracle and Sun Microsystems.

Steven holds a B.S. from the University of Science and Technology of China, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hawaii.


Dean MacIntosh,
Vice President, Human Resources

Dean has served as Vice President of Finance for WebEx since 2001 and now as Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining WebEx, Ms. MacIntosh was Chief Financial Officer of Lumisys, a publicly held, medical imaging equipment manufacturer. Ms. MacIntosh joined Lumisys as Controller in August 1995, was promoted to Vice President of Finance and in 1997 and to CFO in 1998. From 1987 to 1995, Ms. MacIntosh worked at SSE Telecom, Inc., a satellite communications company where she last held the position of Vice President, Administration and Corporate Controller. Ms. MacIntosh holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Masters of Business Administration from San Francisco State University.


Bert van der Zwan,
Vice President, EMEA

As vice president for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Bert is responsible for growing WebEx international market presence. Bert has over 20 years of senior management experience in the European technology and telecoms market. Before joining WebEx, Bert was EMEA managing director EMEA of Action Engine Corporation, a joint venture between Microsoft and Intel where he was responsible for all aspects of the business in and played a key role in building platform relationships with mobile operators, relevant channels and the region’s large hardware vendors. Prior to this, Bert spent eight years at voice and data networking company, 3Com Corporation where he held various executive management roles.

Bert has a degree in Auditing from NIVRA University in Amsterdam.


Peter Carson,
Vice President, ASIA PAC

Peter is responsible for expanding the network of strategic relationships, identifying new application capabilities, and will help manage the evaluation and implementation of external ventures and acquisitions for the company. He joined WebEx in 2004 with more than 28 years of management experience. Before WebEx, Carson spent 16 years at Raychem Corporation, where he was responsible for developing multiple divisions within the company. He served as vice president of electronics systems, overseeing the critical transition from defense to commercial focus, the automotive division, which he built to a $175 million business, and the $450 million transportation division.

Peter holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
