Beginning of March 2009 until mid October 2011: This is a period of general regeneration, which may not be entirely pleasant. Most of us are attached to the past whether or not it is good for us. And this influence will root out precisely those elements of the past that are not good for you, even those aspects that you have forgotten about. Problems that you may have lost track of entirely but which are still working unconsciously in your life may reappear and become active now, usually but not always to your detriment.
This influence is associated with forces for change that are inherent within the hidden depths of things. Therefore you should not blame the unpleasant changes that occur now on circumstances or persons in your environment. Look within yourself to see how the groundwork for the present is laid in the past.
Many things may be destroyed at this time, and the destruction will be ruthless if you defend them with rigidity. The action of this influence upon unyielding entities is particularly harsh. Therefore you should simply allow the things of the past to fade and allow the future to be born on their ruins. If you can do this, the potential for positive change is very great.
This influence may also increase your concern about the creative and regenerative processes within the universe and cause you to become interested in the occult. However, certain aspects of the occult, such as magic, are best avoided during this time, because the energies involved will be difficult to control now. Although your conscious mind may be in control at first, you are likely to find that entirely unconscious forces within you have taken over and are running you completely. This can have disastrous consequences.

Pluto opposition Sun: Leave well alone
Beginning of January 2011 until beginning of November 2012: This can be an extremely difficult period for relationships, both intimate and casual, because you are likely to get involved in power struggles with others. It may be that you will try to force others to take a certain course of action against their will, or others may try to do this to you. In either case you may have to take evasive actions in order to avoid real difficulties. If you are attempting to dominate others, you should stop, no matter what your motives are. You may think you have the best reasons in the world for dominating people, and perhaps you believe that you are only doing it for their own good, but that is probably not really true. It is more likely that you simply cannot leave well enough alone. An excessive desire to meddle and interfere is one of the negative effects of this influence.
If you are the victim of someone else's meddling and interfering, the problem is more difficult. In some way, probably unconsciously, you have given out a signal that you will allow yourself to be treated this way. And having set off this reaction, it is hard for you to stop it. On the other hand, you may gain something by fighting back. It is often useful to experience a test of wills with someone, and it is much less dangerous to you when you are asserting your independence of someone else rather than the other way around. You may need to prove to yourself that you are stronger than your opponent.
One dangerous aspect of this influence is that it may trigger off a conflict with persons in authority over you, such as a boss, a government official or someone in a similar position. These people can do you more harm than most, and you should be very careful.
At its most positive, this influence gives you great energy to accomplish things, provided you can keep down the negative effects so that you don't arouse too much resistance and opposition from others. Your personal ambition is likely to be very high during this time, and you can succeed, for this is not an "unlucky" influence. It only requires you to be careful, because its energies are very powerful.
Pluto opposition Saturn: The truth works
End of February 2011 until beginning of October 2013: During this time you will experience changing circumstances and situations that may force you to surrender many things - material goods, relationships, principles - that you have previously held on to. You will probably resist these "losses," which is how you will experience them, with great tenacity and stubbornness. You will need great discipline under this influence, because you may not have any resources to waste, and you may be forced to do as much as possible with very little.
Feelings are often suppressed under this influence, as if facing the reality of your present conditions does not permit you the luxury of indulging in emotions. However, this is more apparent than real. You may confuse hardheartedness with hardheadedness and suppress feelings for what you consider to be "practical" reasons. Even if your situation becomes very difficult, you should still keep your heart open to others, or you will bear the scars of this period for the rest of your life as a loss of humanity.
You may feel that you have to work very hard and that nothing ever comes of it. That is true in that the kind of overt success that everyone can clearly recognize is not likely to come now. Your life is in a state of change, and your circumstances are stable enough to bring anything to the kind of culmination that constitutes success. But you are laying a framework for future success. Your inner structure as a human being is changing, and it is the profound insecurity of such a transformation that is making you hold on to the past so furiously with such a sense of effort. When this period is over, your life course may be considerably changed. The only reason you aren't getting anywhere now is that there isn't anywhere for you to go in that direction. Remember, the truth works! If it doesn't work for you, it isn't true for you! This may be the most important lesson that you can learn at this time.
Jupiter opposition Uranus: A need for newness
3 May 2011 until 11 May 2011: This influence signifies a desire to release yourself from restrictions and obligations that you feel have limited your life unnecessarily. Often it coincides with a sudden break from some limiting circumstance, such as a person, a job or simply a way of life. This need for newness in your life and for something different from the daily routine is a powerful force, and it will be very difficult to continue as you have.
You will feel the breaking away itself as an enormous relief, a lessening of tension. For this reason you must review your life very carefully to find out what needs to be overthrown and what does not. The danger is that you will overthrow worthwhile things along with the useless. Be careful of this, because it could substantially vitiate any advantage you gain from your new freedom.
Relationships are especially affected by this influence, particularly those that obligate you in some way. A partnership, either marital or business, may be quite difficult to maintain during this time. And to add to the confusion, it is sometimes your partner who wants out. This is an example of an influence experienced in projected form; instead of putting out the energy yourself, you encounter someone who is apparently doing it for you. In this case, do not attempt to hold on to the other person, for that is the surest way to drive him away. Give your partner all the freedom he needs, for you need it, too, although you are not as aware of it.
A related expression of this influence is encountering a person who seeks in some way to liberate you from yourself or from some duty that you have voluntarily taken on. You may find such a person irritating, but he or she is performing a valuable function in your life. Again, the roles may be reversed, and you may set out to change someone else's life. The point is that this is a valuable influence, even though it may be somewhat disruptive. It can prevent your life from becoming so static and stabilized that you cease to be truly alive.
Uranus opposition Pluto: Sweeping changes
Beginning of May 2011 until mid January 2013: Now is the time to make sweeping changes, not only in your consciousness, but also in the circumstances in which you live. Conditions that have been developing slowly will force major changes upon you now. If you are flexible, you will be able to start a whole new phase of life, even though you may have thought that the time for new starts in your life is past. You will have a new birth of awareness, and you will be able to deal with your life unhampered by old patterns of thought that have limited you.
But if you cannot adapt and be flexible, this will be a period of great turmoil and stress as you try desperately to hold on to circumstances, possessions and relationships that no longer have any real function in your life. What you are trying to save is not something real, it is only an illusion.
The impetus for change may come through persons who present you with many upsetting surprises, all of which show that your life is no longer what is was. The key point to recognize is that this process is not bad for you, it is just upsetting at first until you get into the flow of events. It can be quite exciting and will certainly inject an element of youth into your life again, with the advantage that now you will have the wisdom to handle it properly.
Jupiter opposition Moon: The first move
25 May 2011 until 3 June 2011: This is a time when feelings and emotions play an important part in your life, and relationships based on feelings and emotions become very important. This influence is usually experienced positively as warm feelings within yourself and from others. You feel emotionally very generous and giving. Relationships are usually quite good and rewarding now, and those that you have been building up for years may begin to produce results. You can now decide clearly which ones are worthwhile and which are not.
But there is a negative side to this influence also. It can make you feel very self-indulgent and undisciplined. You may feel that the world "owes me a living," whether or not you really deserve it. It may also make you feel that others ought to be breaking their back to help you. In personal relationships, you may become very demanding without really offering anything to your partner in return. Instead of reaching out to make things happen in your life, you wait for others to make the first move and become quite angry when people insist that you take some initiative.
Your love relationships and relations with women can be either very good or very bad, probably not anywhere in the middle. It all depends upon your general reaction to this influence. If you are demanding in the manner described above, then your relationships will be bad. But if this influence arouses your feelings of warmth and generosity, they will be quite good. And this is a good way of gauging where you are with this influence, because encounters with others, especially women, will bring out its effects.
