Growing virtual meetings and events company with video and audio at the core of its communications infrastructure
seeks CTO & R&D engineers at the Senior Project Management level. Qualified candidates will possess some or all of the requirements listed, or at least the ability to form a comprehensive team to build and maintain the infrastructure required by the business' solution: 5+ years expert-level experience in real-time video and audio communication, plus the associated networking infrastructure architecture and implementation. In particular, the company seeks individuals with: 5+ years expertise in H.323, H.264, SIP, video v6, v8, and codecs (especially SVCs like H.264), audio codecs (G.7xx, AAC-LD et al.); 5+ years real-world networking expertise with MPLS/L2TP/PBB and LDP/RSVP; a deep, hands-on knowledge of video APIs on one or more platforms (win, Mac, Android, iOS); expert-level experience in Flash, HTML, HTTP and streaming servers, preferably including RTP/RTCP, Javascript, C/C++, Action Script, Ajax, and e-commerce related technologies; 5+ years experience in database architecture and implementation, including but not limited to MySQL; expert knowledge of IP protocols, virtualization and client side cloud technologies and network quality issues; a solid base in drivers, libraries, and performance issues; 5+ years experience negotiating with network vendors and building/maintaining a test suite to vet network vendors; senior-level experience selecting and integrating best in class and emerging technologies for live conferencing applications and functionality; 5+ years experience building and managing teams of R&D engineers with commensurate experience in web-based audio and video conferencing.
