Editor's Review
Author: NerdWalletVerdict – The Chase Slate card is great if you want tools to help you manage paying off your balance. The intro 0% APR is offered for 15 months and has no balance transfer fee, which often makes it a better deal than other cards with a 3% balance transfer fee and 18 months of 0% APR.
No balance transfer fee: The Chase Slate is one of very few cards that has a 0% balance transfer period
and no balance transfer fee. This makes it easily one of the best balance
transfer cards out there.
Blueprint: The Chase Slate card is really marketing their new BLUEPRINT® payment management tool that allows you to select charges to pay off and charges that you want to pay over time, and helps you set up a payment plan for those big ticket items. It is designed to make it easier for you to understand how you are paying off your balance.
Heads up: Please note that Chase usually doesn't allow you to transfer a balance from a Chase card to another Chase card. This means that if you want to transfer a balance from the Chase Freedom® or Southwest Airlines® Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card, you might not be eligible.
